More details out. Draw done for 70 pointers stay valid. Seats occupied by transfer cases go vacant. Draw to be conducted for the vacant seats with remaining eligible candidates.

70 pointers draw is valid as per notification. the seats which will become vacant now for 75 pointers will be done as redraw including the waitlist ones and 75 pointers which will now come in 70 points . they made every body happy

But now schools will start admission from 1st March or will have to wait upto 15th March. Like my daughter got selected in one school under girls quota but i want to wait for other schools draw now, So now that school will wait for my daughter admission till 15th march or not????

Please confirm it became confusing for me now as they said "last date for first list as 15th March" not " Date for first list as 15th march"

But still no clarity on waitlist. What happens to waitlisted candidates?

Waitlisted candidates again go under the draw with 70 pointers and inter state transfer cases who now drop to 70 pointers

@ Sakshi, please correct if i am wrong. As per my understanding of this notification.

1) For Draw done for 70 pointers already, the confirmed/selected list is valid.

2)  Waiting list already stands invalid. 

3) All seats that were taken by 75 pointers would be marked as "available seats" for 70 pointers

4) Draw will be done for " available seats" and also for new waiting list. Old waiting list will not be considered

5) Final 1st list to be out by 15th March

6) 2nd list to be out on 20th March

Manish point here is all schools will wait for 15th March or will start admission for kids who secured their seats??

@ Jatil, Considering that notification has no mention of it. I think schools might start admission process for selected list of Girls, EWS, Selected Alumni, Sibling cases and also for selected list of 70 pointers. I suggest all selected list candidates to be alert during 1st march onwards, schools should not get chance to say that the parents did not appear in-time. This is purely my understanding 

And parents like me, who have no seats yet have to be vigil and monitor the available seats in each school and notify AN team if we see any discrepancy..good news for all of us :)

This notification is bit appreciable depending upon the current hiring scenario as feasible beside this will be residual opportunity for 70 pointers not an equal opportunity at all as who so ever defaulter has ultimately compromised the opportunity for 70 pointer victims as unlucky waiting draw although 70 pointers are not responsible for misleading the selection scenario under any circumstances so fresh redraw from end to end is more appreciable as equal luck draw opportunity for our innocent generation by birth of neighborhood locality.

This time the provisional selection of unjustified draw due to the malpractice happened before the scheduled final selection declaration date is obsolete and should be ideally cancelled. Then reorganize open justified draw as effective resolution of rectification in order to actually heal the 70 pointer victims otherwise it will not fulfill the expectation of fair chances in broader sense.

So this notification will not make much difference on current scenario of 70 pointer victims of great improvement because it will just serve as unlucky draw in installments, may be lucky for few one, thus fresh redraw for everyone should be recommended cancelling the provisional selection before the due final selection date. Let's see how things go ahead as parents we need to again push our self into the mission race of admission with such road blocking hurdles leaving other priorities of our job career etc due to the lack of authentic admission guidelines although strict rules should be enforced so that no one can break the rules by malpractice what has happened. Best of luck to everyone for trying upcoming open seats draw in near future.

Thanks Brij for this analysis. I think parents in Dwarka would find a big relief. It would surely open up 500 plus seats in top 10 schools here. And likewise at-least 300 wait-list.

as a 70 pointer I got admission for my daughter in Modern Convent, Maxfort, GD Goenka, Sri Ram World School and have also got a call from Presidium. With this change of Redraw for 75 point seats, I donot know how to proceed. should I a secure seat, then in which school. GD goenka is very expensive though very close to my residence. Sri Ram world school is very close, but again a new school. Donot Have much knowledge about Modern Convent and Maxfort.

can anybody pls help how to proceed. Like all I too want the admission in preferred school. thus seeking help.

If thedate has been extended to 15th march can the schools ask for fee deposits from candidates whose name has been selected before 15th. As per doe circular all date has been extended to 15th saaksi mam ,latha mam please reply
