I got a sms from IHS that there list will be out on 15th Jan then which list you guys are talking about?

Guys,

I called up BASAVA today and the lady on the phone confirmed that they are calling people only for the school tour, the Draw/list would be done on 15th or 16th.

I am seeing some posts that says they got admission confirmation calls.

Could someone please clarify on this.

anyone knows the criteria of Modern convent school. how much points list eligible for draw

In IP website for General Cat for my kid its coming "Regret It" but his name was announced at the time of draw... Any idea on this.. Thanks in advance...

@shweta: don't lose heart. even the ones living in Dwarka are not faring any better than the ones outside Dwarka.

@ ranjan - I suppose you are right, I do be a soft corner for bags & basava due to their south Indian links. Bit nonetheless they are good schools.

@ Ravi - I don't know, why basava said that to you, we did get a confirmed seat call.

Hi everyone

I would like to share some information with you guys as I was browsing the comments, observations about J M in this forum. Being a parent of JMIS from the last 2 years, I come to the conclusion that 2 years back when I changed the school of my elder son from R D Rajpal, I was absolutely right. In these two yrs I and my wife have seen lots of good & positive changes in my son as comparative to RD Rajpal. Though the RDR is a good school with big playground & all but after all academics, curriculum & methodology matters a lot. I found RDR is a conventional school rather JM is very innovative in its approach.  Trust me guys I know many parents of JMIS who changed their kids school from RDR and Maxfort and took admission in JM, they are extremely happy now. We always meet in PEMs and I find more & more enriching program with new curriculum reforms & methodology.   

Its my personal views and believe me JM is far better than RDR>Maxfort>SRWS>DIS>Indian Heights>Paramount that’s my rating. Rest is your choice.

With how  many points should one be a little hopeful in DPS, I ve 45, do I stand a chance?

Even I rate DPS , BBPS n mt Carmel higher than BGS n Basava. Didn't get mt Carmel, not much hope in DPS n BBPS isn't until Feb. Kind of lost faith in VIS after hearing figures like 2.5 lakhs. 

@ sumonto - personally I feel, all their other schools you mentioned are better than Delhi international. But, let's see what others suggest.

When I visited did yesterday, they said we have till 19 the to decide. You might want to recheck with them.

@Rajat, can you please put more light on other school you researched in this manner? Or was it just the JMIS you went through rigorously. Since, you joined the forum last evening, it will be great to have your side of story for other schools too apart from JMIS. I am sure you would be considering not just JMIS for your daughter's admissions. Any similar input will be helpful to all of us here on other schools.

Just to confirm once again - the whole point indicated by you is that JMIS is better than RDR for all the classes. Hope am correct in my understanding.
