    Hi Everybody,

Please given your expert suggestion/advice/experience on my below query.

I have already taken admission in VV DAV & now getting a chance to join St. Gregorious. is it worthy to shift my ward from VVDAV to St. Gregorious.

St. Gregorious is 5-6 km from my place & VV DAV is 3.5 Km.

Kindly advice. this is probably my last query on this portal.

    Thanks

    Hi Sakshi/ Parents

I need an urgent opinion on the reviews of Nirmal Bharti ya School, Dwarka. How is the school in terms of security, education at primary level and education at senior level and extra curriculuar activities specially sports in this order itself?

Also, how is it in comparison to Salwan, Rajinder Nagar and is it worth to shift from Salwan to Nirmal Bhartiya.

    Thanks

  • Sakshi (Moderator)

  • DEEPTI SINGHAL

    Hi Sandeep

Can u give a first hand review of BGS dwarka? I think I read in posts that ur ward is in this school.

    Thanks

  • DEEPTI SINGHAL

    Hi Sakshi/Parents

Can u suggest the difference between Basava International School, Dwarka and Nirmal Bhartiya School, Dwarka in terms of education quality, safety, extra-curricular specially sports?

    Thanks

  • Sakshi (Moderator)

Parents are requested to share first hand reviews.

    @sandeep pls help DEEPTI SINGHAL

  • Sandeep Pal

@Deepti Singhal. Yes my son id studying since 3 years and i am satisfied with the school. No home work for the children just revise whats done in class. Moderate fee. Fee is according to govt. not increase since last 3 years except transport. Teaches are good. Low pressure on students regarding study activity on weekly basis no extra burden of activity like other schools. Hope this will help you.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Deepti Singhal. Both follow different mode of education. Both are good at their own level. Basava Less expensive than Nirmal.

  • DEEPTI SINGHAL

    @Sandeep. Thanks Sandeep  It's a great help.

  • Vivek

    Hi All,

Wanted to check if my kid whose DOB is 25 Apr 2016 (and will be short by 25 days to be 3 yrs as on 31st Mar 2019) will be eligible for Nursery admission in coming session (2019) in Delhi (Dwarka). Or it's worth to try at various schools for admission (i mean does school consider a month or so as an exception?).

I am confused with it and as a few schools have casually said that they allow exceptions, but not sure if they really will admit or not.

  • DEEPTI SINGHAL

    @Vivek

Hi Vivek. Even a difference of a day matters as per DOE. My daughter is also April born  But we had to wait for another year. She was born on 16th April, 2013 and secured nursery admission in 2017 only. And there is no harm. It's better for kids. Also, if any school says that they accept, don't go for it as school's should abide by rules and if they r not, you never know what kind of school is that. This process shall be transparent. Rest your choice

  • Vivek

    Hi Deepti,

Thanks for your feedback. I will wait for a year and will go for 2020 session. Let the child enjoy one more year of freedom and happiness :-)

Also, a few people (family/friends) suggested to have a fake birth certificate and then go for admission, but i suppose 3 year ole child is too young to tackle school academics and 3.5+ should be ideal age (my times also ~1990, 3.5 was minimum age for admissions).

Thanks for your feedback again, can u suggest any good Play school around Sector 11? Brats and Cuties is very near to me, Sri Ram Global is also near but i think they charge some ~1lac/year, which i think is exorbitant for a play school.

  • DEEPTI SINGHAL

Hi Vivek. Yeah I have also seen the growth of my daughter. It's amazing how well she has done so far and I think it's more of because she was away from the bounds and pressures of school.

As far as play schools are concerned, the most imp parameter for me was security. I am new to Dwarka so won't be able to guide you in that regard.

    Best wishes

  • DEEPTI SINGHAL

Yes Vivek, shri  ram global is next to my society and it seems okay. About brats n cuties, a friend of my husband sends his eight yr for day care so you can check that. Also as I have seen both schools from the road side, I found brats a bigger school and so security shall be better. But you shall check that personally.

  • Sriyamuna

    Hi Vivek
I send my kid to Mother’s pride at Sector-6. Regarding play school fees, almost all the schools with proper infrastructure, they charge min 1LPA. Pls look for safety issues and reachable distance..
  • Sandeep Pal

@Vivek. You can try Candyfloss, brats & cuties, Kidzee and a school in the back of venkateshwar.  international school.

  • Vivek

Thanks all, for your valuable feedback.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Vivek. In Candyfloss you an get chance to place your child in ITL and school at the back of venkateashwar you can get chance to place in venkateshwar international sec 10. You can also try ave maria there you can get chance for St marys.

  • Priyanka

    Hlo ol

I am looking for a good school in dwarka for my daughter for nursery admission. Can anyone pls suggest me d bestest school in terms of academics, curricular activities, infrastructure etc.

And when the forms are going to be out.
  • Sandeep Pal

@Priyanka. Form starts from approx jan  to feb after DOE notification. There are many good schools in dwarka depending upon distance, budget. kindly share you location and budget to guide.

  • Vaibhav

My kid will turn 2.5 years in march 2019. Kindly provide the list of schools in Delhi Dwarka where I can get admission at this age group as most of the schools has age criteria of 3+ years.

  • Vaibhav

Thanks Lathaa. Yes I know then probably I will have to wait for 2020.

  • Vivek

    Hi Sandeep,

Thanks for your reposne. I think the pre-school behing VIS 10 is VIS Kids, does anyone here know anythign abt this play/pre school? I mean if i get my kid admitted here, will there be chances for him to get in VIS10 in future or again i have to go all the trouble of filling form and trying hard for luck.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Vivek. Yes you can get chances of admission. i think you should also check with school as VIS also opens admission in nursery since last year. So there are chances. Whats your budget

  • Vaibhav

Can anyone pls list down good schools in Dwarka with genuine fees structure.

  • Sakshi (Moderator)

  • Vivek

    @Sandeep

Whats your budget: That's a nice ques, my budget will range from the fees my father paid for my academics to somewhere ~10-12k/month.

Also, how to get kid admitted in DPS Dwarka? Will political jugaad help there? I don't have direct one, but may try with a series of people, but wanted to know if it work there?

Also, is DPS be a good option for kids? I mean, being the top school it will have a tremendous pressure of it's academic record on students and is there unrequired pressure on kids there?

  • Sandeep Pal

@Vivek. DPS is a good school may be you can try. But its fee is around 14K PM. you can also try schools like BGS, VIS, Indraprastha, ITL, Mount Carmel, Basava, sachdeva they are also good options.

  • Vivek

    Thanks Sandeep.

  • Divya Gaur

DPS fees is 18k per quarter excluding transport. Haven't included any annual costs though.
