I recd sms from St Thomas reg documents verification to be held next week, for 60+ pointers. I see almost 450 wards on a single day. Will go for it, but any suggestions?

I dont see the logic behind calling up all applicants, that too, i have to arrange 1st born affidavit now, when i am not sure whether i will send my kid there or not. Unnecessary trouble. 

@Vivek & Deepti: Reg St Thomas Dwarka - They are not asking anything out of the ordinary. Docs verification is totally fine. They want to filter our candidates who actually have correct docs and are genuinely interested in school hence calling parents for doc verification before the draw.  Only those students will go in their draw who clear this process. This is totally acceptable and they are right in not guaranteeing any admission with docs verification because they are not supposed to and that is the reason there will be a draw. There will be many schools who will ask for first born affidavit like BBPS dwarka before draw. I don't think its unnecessary trouble. Process is process. You have to follow it and take little pains and this is what will later make it rememberable for you. If you want to skip it, you can skip the form of that particular school. No school will come chasing to give admission.  

Hi Hitesh, i agree with your point that process is process, and we all have to follow it. My point was why unnecessary trouble the 1500 parents when school have to admit 150 wards. Ideally these documents shall be asked after DOL, so all 1500 parents dont have to rush to court for affidavit. School also know they will admit 150 wards only but they want affidavit from all 1500. In DOL they shall select 300/400 wards, verify there documents and filter out wrong ones, if seats are still left then call other 100 wards for verification. Thats my point of view.

@Poonam Bamola. Yes you should go as schools are verifying documents.

@Every one. Doc. Verification if fine. See according to you distance and budget. As its little far and to a odd location. But if not got anywhere you can go for it but for that you have to get the document verified first according to their process. Rest your call. I also got message for verification of doc. on 15th 10-11 although I will be getting chance in sibiling category in BGS.

MCS, ITL, VIS10 o also didnt saw anything on list. God knows when they will do it

Hi Aditi,Vivek and Sandeep,MCS, ITL, VIS10 are not following doe guidelines, as i checked yesterday night also and regarding MCS i can understand as they are minority school but ITL, VIS10 and few other schools why they have not uploaded, As they lack transparency as i read in previous year links regarding admission process.

My wife went and she was late so couldn't attend it from starting. She reached when waiting list was announced and she didnt heard my ward name. The school said to  call tmrw for confirmation as they will compile the list. And list will be posted on website by 24 Jan

I called SRWS, my ward name is there in confirm list. But i will wait for other schools and really not interested in it.

Hi Latha ji, yes waiting for 1st list from all schools, luckily SRWS asked  to complete admission formalities till 27 Jan. So have ample time to see results from other schools.

Mount Carmel A/N list is out for registered wards, any idea why Dwarka is not included?

@pushpinder kaur ji , is it mentioned somewhere that draw is for 50 pointers ? As i couldn't find this info anywhere

@vivek thanks , actually i didn't receive message from them & does the message mentions about kids having more points than that is it direct admission , as even front offc isn't clearing this confusion

@Mohit, nothing is written for above 50 pointers, only Sachdeva said 80 and above are selected, no such info from SVIS, you shall reach for DOL tmrw early and clear your doubt with admin in SVIS.

I called up OPG, my child's name is there in waiting list. So the seats are open for all as of now. They are taking first come first admission policy even if it is from waiting. They will wait till 27th. 

BGS list is out with pointers, luckily there are around 30 seats for DOL

VIS10 point list also out, DOL for 70 points on 20 Jan 3:00PM. 90 pointers direct admission

Any idea when will DPS Dwarka release the list and from last years do only distance pointers even get chance to qualify for DOL? From other DPS list i see the seats are filled by Alumni and Siblings itself leaving no chance for highest distance pointers also.
