Please suggest between Basava and Maxfort which is a better school
  • Mrityunjay

I have done admission of my ward in Maxfort as I personally visited this school 4 to 5 times checked with their academic results and I satisfied with the same and the best is it is nearest to my home.

  • Swati Kateja

@snehil Jain -- in NiBs list OL-031. My no is Ankur/2020/31. Is it different?

  • Snehil Jain

@Aditi Garg - Among the two Basava is better, though I learnt that it is quite expensive and there are no proven records, but they ask to shell out your pocket for waiting to be confirmed. If you have Confirmed seat there, that's a school you would like pick (Basava is among the school in Dwarka that have NCC, so there is chance for the kids to have vivid exposure one parent would like to offer to their kids).

    Thanks!

  • Ashu

My daughter is selected for RD Rajpal, DIS Sec 23 and OPG. Thinking of going with RD Rajpal as it is walking distance from home.

Please advise if I should do otherwise

  • Aditi Garg

    Thanks Mrityunjay and Snehil.

@Snehil - my Ward's name is the 1st waiting list. Any idea what are the chances to get the name in the confirmed list
  • Snehil Jain

@Ashu - Sir, you are very right in choosing RD Rajpal among the 3 (keeping the distance factor aside).

@Aditi - Ma'm, I really can't suggest how to quantify chances, perhaps School itself can guide better based on how many confirmed had opted for the school. I know it is more tormenting to be in Waiting List than not to be in such good school, I consider it is something that one has to go through. I really wish I could help more, but can't :(

  • Snehil Jain

@Ashu - You may be glad to know that DID Supermom Debashree (who was among the top at her time) takes the Dance classes in DIS Sec23. Just an information, if you think your kid is good for dancing shoes and could take rich interest in it :-)

Yet, like per my previous response, among the listed 3, I would recommend RD Rajpal.

    Thanks again!

  • Snehil Jain

@Swati Kateja - Yes, ma'm, they do differ. OL stands for the OFFLINE applicant.

  • Ashu

Thanks Snehil for the quick response, I am reassured :)

I know about the dance teacher, when I went to DIS for document verification they told me about dance teacher and master chef contestant (top 10 i guess) is their nutritionist.

yet as you recommended will go for RD Rajpal. Thanks!

  • Aditi Garg

Please suggest between Modern Convent abd Maxfort which is better
  • Snehil Jain

@Aditi Garg - Ma'm - Modern Convent is better among the two as of now. Although, Maxfort is among the emerging ones (as they now began to backup the kids in every sphere and if they continue to follow such track they may be among the best lot), Modern Convent had already established a repute.

    Thanks!

  • Ashish Kumar Dey

Nirmal Bharti Dwarka list out in website.

  • Aditi Garg

    @Snehil thank you so much
  • Ashish Kumar Dey

How is Vishwa Bharti school dwarka?

  • Aditi Garg

Which is a better school between Maxfort, Modern Convent and St. Thomas
  • Snehil Jain

@Ashish Kumar Dey - Vishwa Bharti though have quite an old infrastructure, but the teaching staff over there is excellent. Another factor many parents that consider against it is locality on the most busiest road of Dwarka.

Nonetheless, this school brings the most good of the kids, somehow it had able to make a remarkable presence within Dwarka.

  • Snehil Jain

Correction: Nonetheless, this school brings the most good of the kids, somehow it had NOT able to make a remarkable presence within Dwarka.

  • Ashish Kumar Dey

@Snehil: thanks for ur input. :)

  • Snehil Jain

New Era Public School, Dwarka List is also out on their website.

    Confirmed List

    Waiting List

    Thanks!

  • Hitesh

Nirmal Bhartia School, Dwarka list is out on website.
  • Snehil Jain

@Ashish Kumar Dey - Sure, Sir. You're welcome!

  • Preeti

Please suggest Indraprastha(MQ) or New Era school Dwarka ?

Names in Indian Heights and Queen's valley is in waiting list.

  • Poonam bamola

    Howz nirmal bhartia school

  • Snehil Jain

@Preeti - Ma'am, although it is not very clear whether you are looking for MQ in New Era Public as well and whether The Indian Heights giving you Confirmed seat, yet I would suggest to block The Indian Height School confirmed seat (if you have) and in parallel, see for Indraprastha MQ seats, once you have it (Indraprastha seat or Queen's Valley turns into confirmed), you may withdraw from The Indian Heights.

New Era Public School in Dwarka is not a recommended school, they do paint job while representing themselves. I prefer you take direct walk-in available in few schools (like G D Goenka, DIS Sec-23, Paramount over New Era Public School).

    Thanks!

  • Snehil Jain

@Poonam Bamola - Ahh, to write about Nirmal Bhartia would be something like showing a shine to the diamond. What more I can say, it's a definite go to school in my view.

    Thanks!

  • Poonam bamola

    Thanku so much@snehil jain

  • Hitesh

@Poonam bamola : If you have an opportunity in getting admission at Nirmal Bhartia.. close your eyes and take it, you cannot give a better gift to your child in your life.

  • Preeti

Thanks Snehil.. sorry for not being clear.. my kid got confirmed seat in new era other than gd goenka and OPG. In Indian heights and Queen’s it is waiting.

In the mean time I got to know about Indraprastha MQ seat. So basically my query is if I should wait for Indian heights and queen’s valley or go for MQ in Indraprastha, since you have mentioned new era is not good.

  • Aditi Garg

Please suggest between Maxfort, Modern Convent and St Thomas which one is better
  • Snehil Jain

@Preeti - No issues, Ma'm. Like I mentioned in my previous response to block the seat, and since The Indian Heights is also among waiting, you see, I also mentioned about some schools with walk-ins and luckily you already have a seat in GD Goenka. So, I recommend:

    1. Block GD Goenka confirmed seat. (They will refund your money per DOE guidelines, which makes something around 10K, not more than that on withdrawal. They even refund the same to direct walk-ins too, so you can be relaxed).

    2. Wait for Queen's Valley and in parallel you can channelize Indraprastha MQ, whichever materializes earlier, you can withdraw from GD Goenka.

    Thanks!

  • Snehil Jain

@Preeti - Be noted 10K is what School will keep, rest all will be refunded :-) (Apologies for typing it too fast earlier that sentence loose its essence)

  • Snehil Jain

@Aditi Garg - I would recommend MCS among the three you mentioned.

Maxfort and St.Thomas are on same scale potential wise. You can opt any of it as 2nd choice based on your comfort and other factor assessment like distance / cost.

    Thanks!

  • Vivek

I was very keen on BGS and unfortunately didnt went through any of the list. Any idea if they will entertain any further on admissions. If via MQ, what amount they take.

  • Snehil Jain

@Vivek - Beyond waiting, they don't entertain and becomes paid if any left vacant per history sheet of the BGSIPS (somehow they able to manage it).

It's MQ has 20% of the seats, which accounts to something like 20odds. You need to approach to school what they put on table for you. kindly, don't engage any broker, rather I recommend have some existing student parent so they be bit considerate about the offer they put since in recent years, the school is not keeping much to the expectation of the parents, so their feedback may give them real picture and some bargain margin in its lieu.

    Thanks!

  • Vivek

Hi Snehil, thanks for all your action today in the forum. You single handley answering all queries. How will you rate ITL (comparison to BGS and RD Rajpal). I have waiting in ITL. WL15. And seems RD Rajpal has called all the people in Dwarka. I have heard abt it from almost everyone that their ward is selected in RD Rajpal.

  • Hitesh

    @Vivek : ITL > BGS

  • Vivek

    Thanks Hitesh

  • Hitesh

@Vivek : Your welcome buddy. If you read Snehil comment you can make out BGS is unable to meet parents expectation in previous years, why would you want to take MQ in that school. Im sure you will clear ITL waitlist. All the best.

  • Vivek

Yes Hitesh, thats what i am thinking now. I am also hopeful of ITL. People in my office are big fan of BGS, may be because of its less fees compared to its peers.

But, i am waiting for ITL and DPS (also have waiting there) lets see whats in the lap of.time

    Thanks foe your wishes Hitesh.

  • Hitesh

@Vivek: All the best buddy. It goes without saying keep DPS above ITL. All the best.

  • Snehil Jain

    @Vivek - I concur Hitesh :-)

  • Snehil Jain

Also, Vivek, bear in mind, it's not about the fee, but the value you going to give to your child by offering candid enviornment. Hardly, it would differ very few thousand/month and taking a better schools over BGSIPS would be like getting returns of recurring deposits. Think in this manner too :-)

    Thanks!

  • Bhupender

Thanks Snehil for handling all the queries. I am confused between RD Rajpal and Sri Venkateshwar sec 18 (considering in mind that they dont have their own playground and uses DDA park), can you please suggest which one should we opt?

  • Snehil Jain

@Bhupender - Among the two, I will still recommend SVIS Sec18. It doesn't fall short of things for overall development of the kid and the cultural values it gives emphasis upon is also praise-worthy. People who had attended its DOL already got the glimpse of it , the way they held the proceedings :-)

    Thanks!

  • Bhupender

Thanks Snehil for your feedback. Really appreciate.

  • Snehil Jain

@Bhupender - No worries, Sir. Best wishes to your kid. Cheers!

  • Aditi Garg

Please suggest between Modern Convent, ITL and Basava which is better
  • Aditi Garg

    Thank you Latha ji
  • Vivek

Between ITL and Indraprasth, which one shall one consider
