If its a paid seat. Don’t waste your money.

@Umang. Its a good school but if not a paid one as they will ask for a good amount. Also fee on higher side see you budget. thy can gor for approx 2-3L or above. St marys is an average school.

I had shifted  my daughter  from well known school.I have observed many positive changes in my daughter in last 5 years, She is in Grade 8 now .  I am happy  with overall development and academics in  Indrapratha dwarka .

Hi Harleen, I was lucky last year as my child got selected in two Top schools of Dwarka, Indrapratha and ITL. I opted for Indraprstha  after visiting both the schools and talking to parents of both the schools.

As only online classes are being held for nursery, what i have experienced till now is that teachers are quite competent, compassionate and also are flexible and open to suggestions. As they take classes in small groups as  per need and they make good connect with each child even not being physically present.

@aakansha. Its an ok school not that much impressive according to me. Yet there are lots more good schools in dwarka that are much better than maxford

Hi Aakansha, Best schools in Dwarka are  DPS, Mount Carmel, VIS Sec 10, Indrapratha, BGS,Nirmal Bhartia, ITL,Bal Bharti.

@Aakansha. Also depends upon the budget & the distance also. There are good school school but with good amount of fee structure. Whats your estimate and distance criteria.

Admission process of BGS has been started. Interested parents can fill the form online on school website BGSIPS.net.

As Aakansha has asked good schools in dwarka. I have similar query. Would you please suggest. I am residing in Sec-11, Dwarka and my budget is 6 to 8k per month or 80k to 1 lakh annually  including all breakups.

Considering your preferences - St.Gregorios School n Sec 11-  a decent school. But pre-primary section is located in Janakpuri. 

@Jatinder Pal Singh. You may go for BGS, Mount Carmel, NKB, RDR for 6-8K. Rest have higher fee.

Hi All,

I have my home town address on Aadhar Card and I have requested to change the address. Now I have the acknowledgement slip for address change. Will this be considered as address proof under point system? Or should I go to particular school to confirm this. I don't have any other doc for address proof.

Hi Jatinder, Most of the school would ask for Aadhaar card and by the time school calls you for document verification your original Aadhaar card  would come.

You can also submit Aadhaar acknowledgement slip if required to be uploaded at the time of form submission.

Else acknowledgement slip would also work.

@Nilima. NBS is a good school but an expensive one. Different pattern of teaching. If its affordable to you you should go for it.

@Aakanksha. Just take the print out of the form after filling no need to submit physical form in school. But it should be there with you.

@Aakanksha .. You only have to fill form online for VIS and SVIS and keep a copy with yourself for draws.

@Jatinder.. Acknowledgement might work but you should be more prepared. Your address should have been changed by now when you know admissions happen around December.

Can anyone please confirm how schools calculate point system. As per my knowledge, they shortlist the candidate from address that is mentioned in the school form not from the address proof that is submitted along with the form.

@Jatinder Pal Singh. Yes they calculate the distance according to the a address mentioned in the student form. School are fix their points table according to the Ariel distance from the school. But how come address can be different from the mentioned in the form and document submitted. You should have the proof of address which you have mentioned in the student. School can cancel the form if address mentioned in the form and document submitted are different.

The reason I asked this question because my aadhar card address update is in process however I have acknowledgement receipt for that. Till the time school will verify the docs, my aadhar should have updated address on that. Atleast I can fill the forms as per my preferences and submit the aadhar acknowledgement receipt.

@Jatinder Pal Singh. Yes you can do that. As they do document verification after the Selected children list has been circulated.
