My kid is now in SRDAV, DV. The school is fine just that the administration is following age old system of maintaining hand written records which could have been easily computerized  One of the worst part of Nursery building at SRDAV is its approach road which is the backside of colony and road is in bad shape and full of potholes. I dunno what would happen in rainy season.

Hi Ashwani which section he is in, my daughter also going to same school...

My son is in Pre-school Sec A. He has been label "Red star". In SRDAV, it seems that every kid is given a symbol which has to be affixed on all items he or she is carrying in school to avoid loosing items or forgetting them in school. Good practice. Did not know of any such thing being followed in school.

yep, my daughter is given logo "Pea" to be affixed on all things. its a good practice but my daughter still leaving all things in school..lol lol..

but she is enjoying her school, always eager to go...unlike her play school...she is in section F.

Option 1- You can go at all the desired schools as some have vacancies after final lists come.

Option 2 -You can try in Noida schools

There are several schools in Sahibabad adjoining east delhi. I am sure they would have seats left; but may charge some upfront amount.

Hi Praveen, there are several other schools which are still taking admission and seems to be good.

One of them is Indian Haritage at Priyadarshini Vihar. But its up to 5th standard.

hi..I have a query...suppose if my daughter does not get admission in any good east delhi school acc. to the point system...then do good schools of Noida,ghaziabad(DPS,AMITY,CAMBRIDGE.ETC) have seats to take students from Delhi???is there any scope of admission in these schools in feb???

@Sheetal,You should try to block in advance as admissions for Noida schools are over in Oct and then try for Delhi Schools.(which start in Dec) There are very less chances in feb. Yes in new Noida schools you can try in Feb also.

Just want to warn East Delhi Parents about Bharat National Public School (BNPS), AVOID at all cost! Its a horrible school! My twins went to pre nursery there for couple of months this year, but the teachers are unqualified, do not pay attention to the children, and one of my sons was beaten by the maid in the school toilet! Please inform anyone you know to avoid BNPS and their primary section school Happy English School at any cost!

 Fail to understand what Sneh International is up to. The have stipulated DOB between April 10 to march 11 and is asking for parents income in the online form. As per DOE guidelines both are prohibited.

- Fixing the lower-upper age (born between April 10 - March 11)
- Asking for parent Education
- Asking for parent occupation
- Parents "achievement' in any sphere of social activity.

Prashant - There are two Vivekanand Schools. In my understanding the one in D block is comparatively better than the one located just opposite in B block. Overall this D block Vivekananda School has a good ranking and feedback. Thanks

The two schools are run by the same management. The one in Preet Vihar is smaller school which has only primary classes. You should confirm from the school if the students will be automatically promoted to the D Block branch.

 Hi Vimal - just to clarify my previous comment, I understand that Vivekananda School D block Anand Vihar and Vivekananda School Preet vihar F block are from the same management group.

What I was referring to below was the comparison between "Vivekananda School" D block Anand vihar and "Vivekananda public school" B block Anand VIhar. To best of my knowledge, they don’t belong to the same management.

Shaheed Rajpal DAV Public School, Dayanand Vihar, East Delhi not following DOE guidelines for Pre-Primary admissions. Selling forms with prospectus forcefully and also will conduct  entrance for Pre-primary onwards on 8th March'2014. Clearly mentioned on the acknowledgement received after submitting registration form for Pre-primary.

Anybody has idea of draw of lots (general category) at Ryan Mayur Vihar phase 3. Because draw for girl applicants is on 18/02/2014.
