@mayank: exactly, we are just discussing about lottery/draw. Anyone having more points then cut-off points for draw, is already in/confirmed.

But would suggest anyone is this situation having 60 points, to challenge the school on the decision to have lottery with 55 pointers. They have to give you benefit for that extra 5 points you have got.

@Yoginder so they can increase the seats!! if let say Salwan have 80 seats can they take intake of 100-120?

yes they can  suppose in one section 30 allowed but many big schools put 35 to 40 students

Mayur didnt offered me anything, but yeh asked me very strange thing  i.e.have you applied to any other school!! but i guess that was just for survey purpose i told her that in today's scenario its imperative.

I only have distance points and first child points with me, hence nothing specials there must be 100s like me.

Amit how did you got intimation regarding National Victor, there is nothing on site..

Ideally verification for docs will be for only shortlisted candidates.

Any info on universal school draw held yesterday. Can someone call school and check.

@pritha: no impact as such. Most good schools specifically mention this on their terms.
