@ Yogender these are special schools an initiative by Delhi Govt, These schools are supposed to be at par with priv schools with best teachers , maids tec.

Facilities like pool and all... right now only 5 schools are their across Delhi. Dwarka building is nice not sure about others

@Amit one of my neighbours kid is in Salwan, they are paying 30K per quater inc bus and misc charges. So expect hike on that amnt

Hi Anyone have any idea that when does orientation of Salwan MV takes place, i.e. in past when did it happen?? it will be helpful

We will get message from them regarding orientation date in last week of march and for fees in April first week.

But they told that Orientation will happen in last week of March...

@mayank: distance issue is one, second is they do not have bus for my area and i couldnt find any cab as well to salwan.

when is the school going to start for salwan and do we have any dates to purchase books and uniform

@Amit, they will let us know during orientation... but i suppose classes will start from 4-5th April as per last year parent experience.

Generally in Orientation is just an introduction to school , they do have certain programs in schools like workshop or dances etc. Apart from that you can meet teachers see classes etc. So it just first interaction.

Any idea about when Vivekanand School, D block orientation is scheduled.

I think Salwan is bit better, been to shrestha Vihar didnt liked it much

other than teacher student ratio in salwan is good, .Been to salwan school , the toilets there have no door .can anyone suggest which one is better salwan school or DAV shrestha vihar 

@All, One of my friend Sis was an alumni of DAV Shrestha Vihar, still she chose Salwan due to various reason last year. You can check her comments by  typing Ruchi Yadav in search.

As per her feedback Salwan is better rest is anyones choice

Anyways when i was studying we used to buy it from Krishna Book Store Pkt-C, MV-2. If they dont have they generally take your order and bring it from dealers.

or best way if you name of books you can go to Nai Sadak or order it through Amazon
