How do you compare KPS, Noida with St Francis Indirapuram?

Hello Parents,

Please suggest what should I do so much confusion :

1) KPS[very positive feedback I got], 7 km away from house, school timings 8 to 12:30(bus will pick the child around 7:15 am) pm,last date to submit fee is 1st Oct.

2) VBPS also good school, 5km away from house, school timings 9 -12:30 , result is coming on 5th Oct...

Please share the views..thanks in advance...

Hi All...Which school to choose among KPS & Somerville...really confused. In both the schools I have to submit fees by 1st Oct. Please help.

@Geetika -both the schools are good , sommerville only focus in academics , kps will give u overall exposure, board result wise both the schools are same almost

My son got selected in KPS, NOIDA. I have deposited the fees on Sunday. I think the school is great in all aspects, so I am not confused about its performance.

@Surja, we applied for three schools only bal bharti, father agnel and khaitan. But hard luck in all. My daughter is dec' 2010 born so we were left with few options. Also missed some good schools due to lack of understanding. Can u suggest me some decent schools where still we can apply?

@Surja, Moon....  We are planning for DPS expressway. but distance is a major concern. Is Ramagya a good school.... B'coz i have not heard much positive about it?

Is Khaitan better than Vishwa Bharti? Parents and Moderators please define it objectively or based on experience, if you can.

Further, How much needs to be deposited tomorrow (last day)? How much of that shall be refunded, if we cancel it later.

An early reply shall be highly appreciated!

@Subhash, 52600 rs DD is required, fee refund policy is not very clear some one told except Adm fee (24K) rest all can be refunded,if  back out reason is genuine.

@Sarita and @Manish: Thanks a lot for the prompt response! We are residing in Vasundhara Enclave (Delhi). Among Noida schools, we have got Khaitan, but Vishwa Bharti is awaited! 

Shall we take admission now or wait for Delhi schools.

Further, Is there any place (link/document) where this Refund policy is mentioned (including previous years experience)?

@Subhash, I am also staying in Vasundhara Enclave and waiting for VBPS result , the fee refund information is give in last few pages of prospectus.

@Manish & @sarita: It has this exact text - 

"Admission fee and other payments once made are NON-Refundable".. 

This means 56.2K once paid are gone. Right?

@Manish: Have you submitted the fees at Khaitan?

@Manish: Do you think Khaitan is better than Delhi schools like Somerville, Amity, Ahlcon etc. which are within 5 KMs of our distance?

My daughter is 2009 Nov born and I've come to Delhi just 3 months back. So I'm not sure how does the admission process of Delhi Schools happen. So I shall request you to add some key points as in why would you be taking Khaitan Public school and not take chances with Delhi schools.

@Subhash: Delhi school admission is based on point system, distance point goes with everyone  , the sibling and alumni point doesn't fall in my case rest they do some lottery system in case of equal points, I am not sure we will get seat in good school.

for noida school I have only option of KPS (approx 7km) and heard very positive feedback till now, VBPS(4.5 km ) is awaited.

I was also very much confused between KPS, VBPS and Delhi school but now thinking we can't take risk.. and in delhi within 5km of distance we have only three good school Ahlcon, ASN and Somerville.

@Manish: Could you please elaborate more on the point system - criteria etc., as I'm not aware of it and couldn't find it on the websites of these schools (Delhi schools) either? 

I just had a word with some people and they said that Khaitan's focus on extra-curriculum is better than VBPS. But HT ranking of2013 doesn't even have KPS in their list.

@Subhash, HT rating is more like commercial ad and don't pay much attention on this, parents feedback matter most.

VBPS is also good but its risk to wait as I don't have any other seat, if VBPS results were come before KPS so I book seat in vbps

@Subhash, I am in Vishal Appt near to Mod..some of the school also keep this point but I am also not aware of current point system criteria.

Today is last date foradmission in KPS and Today by evening the result of Amity second list will be coming. I am very confused whether I must go for KPS or wait for Amity.

Today I submitted fees in KPS but just now got call from BBPS that your son is selected for admission pls submit the fees by 3rd Oct..

is BBPS better then KPS ? BBPS is 3KM away from my house....

@Manish-KPS is good school,dont worry about it,i chose kps over amity and cambridge ,so be happy, and lets meet in orientation

Finally we have booked the seat in KPS for my daughter.But very less students from Jasola Vihar any one else from Sarita Vihar and Jasola...Hope i have taken a good decision as i have left DPS Interaction.

As per my knowledge, I don't think that they will come up with third list. Last year also they had come upto second list only. Just from the fact that they have selected only 50 from the waiting list implies that they are somewhat near to fulfillment of their seats.

However, nothing can be said when it comes to schools and their decisions as per their requirements. Many schools even I have heard start their process somewhere near the year end for the left over seats, if any, but this is yet to be confirmed.

hello everyone ...ay idea about khaitan public school, ghaziabad branch ???

Actually my son name showed up in waiting list that was displayed on 25th Sep. But his name is not displayed in this waiting list of 50(1st Oct). So any idea if there is any other waiting list coming up. 

Please tell me that is there any format for the medical fitness certificate as required by the school . It is written as "Medical fitness certified by a registered doctor as per CBSE forms given by the school". Does it imply some special format or a simple fitness certificate issued by the doctor will suffice the requirement?

after submission ur fees and other docs school will give u 2 pages forms ,one is vaccination detail which u will only fill and other one need to fill by doctor,

Okay so at the time of admission only DD, Original Birth Certificate, Photographs and residence proof needs to be carried.

DD. Photocopy of BC signed by gztd officer, residence proof and photogrphs, plz chk their website also
