Hello All,

     Does anyone have an idea about when the list will be out for " shortlisted for interaction" ?

Also will there be any sms/call intimation to parents or will it be available on DPS Site ?

    Based on last year...here are the answers to your queries:

    - There will be a link on DPS site after the form submission date where you can check the status (shortlisted for interaction) by entering application number which you would have got after submitting the form. 

    - There was no sms/email etc, you have to check yourself on their site but they had called one day in advance to inform that tomorrow both parents have to be there with the child at this (whatever is your slot) time.

      As per DPS site, first list of shortlisted kids will be out today i. e 6th sep and parents needs to check the status till 15th sep, need to login through already registered credentials

        Hello Fellow Parents,

        I would like to request your kind help in addressing a dilemma situation we are faced with regarding our daughter's nursery admission.

        She has been selected for both Somerville (fees already deposited) and DPSN ( fee to be deposited on 1st Oct).

        We just shifted to Noida 3 months back and don't have any contacts here to get a first-hand review of the schools. So we are relying on whatever informatio we can get online.

        From the previous posts I read on this forum, I get a feeling that DPS is generally preferred more than Somerville.

        However, while going through DPS reviews on Quora, there are certain things which have created a doubt about DPS.

        1. Ragging/bullying is still prevalent in DPS even after the 2016 ragging incident and management is turning blind eye towards it.

        2. The divide between hostelers and normal students, with the hostelers forming groups and bullying the other students.

        3. Openly preferential treatment is being given to students from well-to-do families and teacher's own children who are studying there.

        4. Current principal is not good which is resulting in an overall decline in the school culture/discipline in the recent years.

        5. Constant request of extra monetary contribution under various heads( even for school building construction)

        6. Attitude problem with teacher's and students too in general owing to the big brand that DPS is.

        Obviously all these reviews on Quora are written by former students and it is possible that they are just few dissatisfied students (which exist in every school) venting out their anger.

        Would be really great if parents can shed some light over it.
