dear parents, this is a wonderful forum and lot of insights have been gathered from this. I have one question, what is so great about Sommerville ? why do we want are wards to be a part of this school.

No call so far.

My quest for a nursury seat for my daughter ends with Somerville, Noida. Submitted fees today. We might consider DPS Noida once the list is out. She made to almost all the schools we applied and we selected Somerville owing to its focus on education, basic co-curricular activities, discipline, safety within premises etc. I would like to extend my heart-felt thanks to Team AN, Sakshi, all other parents in this forum. This forum has been a great support during all those days full of confusion and anxiety.

Anybody got a call who had interaction on 9th Sept? The one & only school with its unique admission policy almost kills parents out of suspense :P

No dear.. we too are waiting for the call...whenever any unknown number appears on the screen.....expectations rise but it comes out to be from some bank etc... 

So true Rahul, expectations now fading away as most of the calls were being other day of the interaction so far in this blog....phew !!!

@ Swati if that question  was for me my reg no was 195 , i had interaction on 1st , and dint got any call . I dont think i will get it now , as according to them they have already called all from that lot .

Do anybody have idea about fee structure of Somerville? How much money they are taking at the time of admission and is there any information how much they refund in case of cancellation?

Fees is 49500+20000. No clear idea of refundable amount in case of cancellation.

In Somerville Intl. they are deducting 7,500..

I have registered my son on 19th aug..still waiting for call.is the process still going on oradmission closed.

Visited School today...they are saying that they will be calling by today or tomorrow.

My sons registration no is 11... reside in sector 61... we were told by one of our friends that they are done with the admission process but today when i called up the school they are saying that they are still dispatching the courier.... i just dont understand y the system is a bit weird... its total suspense..!!!

Hi All, seeing so many worried parents I must post my experience last year. They first prefer Christian kids, then kids having siblings, then they call parents residing nearby based on their registration number. There is very minimal chances that one who made through to interaction gets rejected. Working moms is not a criteria for rejection. There were parents who both were working and their parents take care of kids. They do send couriers in phases. I suggest someone residing nearby school get number of courier guy (in our case it was the nearby courier from school-So I collected my letter by myself only).

You can ask me him with your details and if your courier is there then you can collect it. Sometimes it get delayed from the courier guy.

Sorry I don't have number with me but it is 4th or 5th shop after first cut when moving towards spice cinema from school.

From last year blogs i have taken out this no. of trackon couriers . 01202412635 . I am not sure though this time also they are delivering or not .

Today i have called the school, they are saying they will send courier till 20th sep. 

@Priyanka...I personally called the courier service office in morning. I just asked the person about my kid's courier.he was very cooperative..and asked my home address...he asked me to wait for few seconds....he did not get my kid's courier.

@Nandini: I went today for fee submission. Nothing was told for tomorrow.

I got a call from Somerville today and was told that my son has been selected. I have collected the admission forms and will be submitting tomorrow

Our interaction happened on 9th and i got a call on 15th.It was an early morning call at aroung 8AM from landline number 120...

Just keep your cells switched on early morning. U might receive a call.

Our mission for admission is successfully completed with Somerville School...All the best to all ...hopefully will meet @ PTM some time next year....

One of my friend got letter today and she is attending interview in 9 am schedule on day after tomorrow.

No doubt Summerville is little bit better to Khaitan in acedimics while Khaitan is very gud school in overall development. If both kid got selected in khaitan than go to Khaitan......It will always be gud 4 u and ur kids in future to be in same school.

It's my personal view.

Somerville is far better than khaitan in  academics  but  i agree with pankaj ..both your kids should go to same school.

Between Amity and Somerville, please consider one which is close to your residence. Because both are more or less same.

@Anand.. if u r lukn for extra curricular activities then go for Amity. Amity n somerville n equivalent on academic front but Somerville lags behind on activities.
