Right now online classes are going on & I noticed my kid's teacher in 'somerville' saying that she should not move to next concept until she is confident that all her students have fully understood previous concepts, So it also depends on teachers and parents, few may take it as good or may take it as pressure as someone may not want or able to grasp things right now.

My daughter will start school in 2021-22 session. Can anybody please give me an idea about good day care centers around Somerville School? If any of the parents whose wards are already in Somerville and were availing day care services during Pre-Covid times? I know it is still a long way to go for next session and nobody knows when and how this pandemic would end, but I am just seeking information as I am worried about my child's safety and care after school.

I am also looking for an after school day care in the vicinity of Somerville for my kid. After a lot of research I came to know about Prakriti Day Care which is just in half a km reach from somerville. We also visited the day care to have a look and confirmed with the staff at Somerville that Prakriti day care falls on one of the bus routes and somerville bus will stop on Prakriti. Though this day care. is charging on a slightly higher end but I suppose that is negotiable. 

Dear Sakshi, please help me connect with parents who have their wards already studying in Father Agnel, Noida. I really want to understand as to why parents prefer somerville over FASN. FASN is much economic than Somerville. Please help me understand the qualitative differences between both the schools, if any.

I would check this day care..have you confirmed with the school whether they can drop the kid at the day care if it falls on their bus route? I got the inputs from the forum that their pick up and drop points remain the same? Slightly confused about this since there would be a substantial number of working parents who would require day care services after school!

Sorry for my tardy response. Yes, I have confirmed with the school about pick up and drop. Somerville bus will stop at Prakriti, however, the pick up and drop needs to be the same.

Hi Parents, does anyone know what is the refund policy of Somerville Noida sector -22 for the admission fee if anyone wants to withdraw their admission. They have an amount of around 23K that needs to be paid to a trust does that get refunded too.

In the school fee notice board it says that only registration (1000/-) and administrative charges (5000/-) will be deducted but it doesn't say anything specific about the 23600/- that needs to be paid to the trust.

Fee Break up - 

Registration - 1000/- (taken at the time of interview)

Administrative fee - 5000/- (non refundable mentioned in the break up)

Admission Fee - 10000/-

Composite fee for Apr-Jun quarter - 36,000/-

Total of above - 52000/-

Additional amount of 23600/- needs to be paid to the trust.

So total amount to be paid at the time of admission - 52000+23600 = 75600/-

Yes, we got the call for Interaction for nursery admission. Looks like it is based on registration #. Hope it helps !!!!

@nitin, 23k will also be refunded to you. Only very little amount will be deducted and rest all will be refunded.

Just got the mail for the interaction round , however they asked for the Copy of Income Certificate (Both if both are working)  not sure if they are looking for offer letters of parents .

Hope you child has cleared the interaction round . Are you looking for any other school , pls suggest to me as well .
