just got a call from somerville international (the new one) for an interview for tomorrow morning. when i had gone to apply, they mentioned that the new school isnt a franchisee and is a branch, and gets automatic affiliation to CBSE.

sakshi- can you let me know if it is a safe bet to bank on a new school which is a branch of an allready well established school? worried about the quality of teachers at new school. the advertisement though says that the new school can be seen from 10th september, they are calling for interviews before that

                I am in great need of help. I am unable to fill the form online in DPS Noida Sector 30. Every time I complete the filling up of the form and then enter "submit", some query or the other crops in. For example my wife does not have any post graduate degree. However when I enter "submit" a message comes that I should fill the post graduate degree of my wife. I have been trying since today morning but nothing helpful is coming. I had mailed the DPS also in their contact mail, but no answer has come as yet. The last day is 9th of this month for the submission of form. I again pray to all of you to help me out of this situation if you know how to overcome the problem.

                  Thanks for your concern. I tried that also. In fact in the instructions it is written that "either NA be written or it may be left blank. In both the cases it is not going. Can you suggest me some other way.

I did the same way... filled NA in all... in years column enter 0 it wont accept NA

@ sukhvider: the new school doesnt have a website yet. the interview today is also in the existing school in noida. they are quite approachable, u can go to school and get the form, form wasn't too big like that of amity/ DPS, we filled it then and there. i guess last date is still there

Do u hv any info about the interaction dates in St. Teresa? After submitting the form hv u got any date?

@Pooja: In St Teresa, interaction date is being given as 16th Sept. They'll be conveying the timings on phone.

Lathaa, any feedback about Sapphire International School Noida. Currently, the school is uptil 6th and they have applied for CBSE affiliation. How safe is it to enroll our kid in this school?

Please tell me while filling the DPS Form, they have asked about Landline No. and Email Id in father as well as mother particulars so we have to fill official Phone No. and email or personal. Please reply urgently so that I can complete the form.

I tried the mobile no. of DPS many times, but nobody picks the phone ever.

Even I am very much interested in Somerville International school as I think Sector-22 branch will only entertain kids from 3km vicinity only and I live in sector-30 which is like 6-7 km away. Do you have any update on the fee structure of school & last date of form.

went for interview in the morning, they called in the afternoon saying kid is selected, and i have to pay fees by monday. fees is around 75k, in that around 2ok is refundable, no idea on last day of form, i thought they would take time to tell the result and i will get time till i get a clearer picture in other schools, but they have told result the same day.

now i am in a dilemma, whether i should trust the branch to be as good as the main school and go ahead and block a seat in it or not. sakshi can you please help

@ sakshi, they say this is somerville's 4th branch, can you update on how good are other branches of somerville, like the G. noida one. if they have been able to get 3 branches out earlier, and if the branches have been performing well, then they know well enough about how the cascade and make the new branch functioning.

Same reason I am avoiding filling form till last date so that I get maximum time for fees submission because otherwise they don't give time to wait for other schools. Its happening everywhere they are in hurry to get fees deposited.

Is per semester fees also around 20K and do they provide any day care option, just in case if you might asked about it.

can anyone share experience of inetration for viswa bharati school this year?

In  Vishwa Bharti from this year they have introduced 2 levels, firstly they take child for Children Interaction in which only kid is taken. My kid started weeping & just came back in 5 minutes - Most probably they asked the name of child, gave some painting for coloring & from some kids also asked poems.

Later they call parents along with children for PArent interaction where they ask 4-5 general questions like Who looks after kid, What are the activities you do with your kid after coming from office, Tell us about your child, What type of child he is?

So as such its pretty straight forward, only that my son is a bit shy and doesn't go to any place with strangers so returned back early. Also there will be definite wait time of 1 to 1.5 hours & by the time turn comes, kids start getting bore and want to return home
