@mona, we had interaction couple of weeks back, we were asked to get child along. no long queues and wait for hours, we were called within 10minutes time. My child wasnt asked anything, just given a toffee. they asked us about our educational qualifications, and as to why we applied to somerville. lasted just 3-4 minutes. we were called the same afternoon and confirmed that our child has been selected. but we were clear we wanted to see the building before proceeding further. when we went, we saw the the campus had 2 blocks (atleast that is what i could see from outside), the front building last slab had to be still laid, the rear building had 2 slabs yet to be laid. and considering a school will have a lot of detailing in terms of the finishes, window detailing etc, there would also be a lot of loose furniture which will have to be mobilized, apart from this there would be a lot of infrastructure work to be done like play grounds etc. considering the school opening is only 6 months away, i dont think they will complete the entire thing in time. (am an architect by profession and can fairly judge the pace of a building). have this feeling that they would just complete the junior classes, and the construction will still keep going on in the other part of the building/buildings/ field. since my son has wheezing problem and dust allregy, we decided to opt out the school, as in condition of the construction still going on after school started, he would fall sick. also when we checked with the school management, they said they will recruit total new staff for the school, we thought there would be a mix of new and existing school staff who would manage the setback.

Due to age criteria < 3.5yrs , I have limited options;

1) I have to submit APJ fees; want to know between APJ and KPS which is better option; KPS is quite near to my place

2) Which is better of the following; Kothari; GIIS; Billabong, millenium; and Manav rachna; these all are within 3Km radius from my location.

3) APJ/KPS vs International school mentioned above? ; please shed some light

My Son has got selected in APJ. But i am thinking of Billabong not APJ...

 i have interacted with parents of Class-3 and nursery and they say , they are not facing this issue and kids are very happy to go to school...

I am really confused...

I have not visited any of these school so can't say much. But, my neighbour's daughter is in billabong and have heard positive feedback about school. She started this year with nursery.  

I have submitted Bal Bharti form 15th Sept. They told me that everything will be available on website. There is nothing on site till now, did anyone receive anything till now?

@ Sunil - Bal Bharathi Noida results will be out on 24th. No interactions. Selection on basis of point system as mentioned in prospectus.

How come Step by Step after two years of operation in noida became no 1 above  Dps Noida and Amity Noida?

Did we publish a single survey ?

Most genuine feedback is parents feedback .so follow your gut feeling .

can anyone suggest me how kothari international school? as i am residing at east delhi... next year we will shift to noida... my son is selected in kothari... and i think for distance related point we my son's admission form is not selected in APJ, Amity, Bal Bharti and Khaitan. .... He is selected only in Kothari... so pls suggest we have to take admission in KOTHARI? pls pls sugggest me.....

parents whose kids are studying at kothari gave positive feedback.... but in some another sites i read negative points too.. as its fees are to high... also kothari not emphasis more on academic... so i m so much confused and very tense....

Hello Binit, This is not to make you afraid, but feedback on Internet I found not very good. I also read on AN forum its more of show off.

I was never very much interested in this school because of feedback and high fees, so did not check explicitly for this school.

I suggest you get the 1st hand feedback from parents by visiting school. Moreover if Kothari then why you do not try in Mayoor, LV.

Ramagya school I got feedback is improving. Though parents might say there is no comparsion b/w Kothari and Ramagya. But you can decide as per your plans for the child.

Thank you Vibhor... my son will be 3.1 yrs. on 31s march, 2013.... because of age criteria i had applied only in 5 schools as in other schools my son is not fit for age criteria...

Suggestions among  Lotus valley / Amity noida /dps noida

We need to decide between LVIS & Amity noida  .We are waiting for the result of dps noida and we had already submitted the fees of lotus valley and we have to submit the fees of amity noida before 1st oct....

Kindly give ur valuable suggestions on all the above options.

only problem with amity noida, is that its a huge school with large student strength.but still amity noida any day above lotus valley.

@Binit >> it is very tough for me to suggest you, since Kothari was never my target school. so I never did an explicit analysis.

My views are based on reading on groups and some hearing from neighbours & knowns.

We are residing at east delhi.. and shift to noida in next year.. so we also plan that this time we go for  Kothari and next year we will apply in another schools of noida... so may be my son will not be rejected because of distance related issue...

As my son is feb 2010 born this time he is not eligible for most of the schools in noida...

and this year in which schools u have applied for admission of ur daughter?  and r u continue study of ur son in kothari or will u change school for ur son? what is the total anuak fees u have paid for nursery for ur son? willl fees be increased by 10% every year?

main thing is that in higher classes they only focus on extra activities or more focus on academics too?

i am staying in delhi but exploring all options in ncr and found dpsnoida expressway best as far as fees brand name faculty is concerned. i went to school and talked to parents and principal never seen such a humble principal and one parent shifted her elder kid also from reputed school.

if fee is not the factor go for pathways that is best in every aspect but not in academics.
