Very Disappointed with this whole waiting thing and the random mails being sent to parents....Poor IT processes...Why cant they use clear terms like in Waitlist or such thing...or be clear to say that your ward has not been selected....Not expected it out of Brand DPS...Moderator please contribute constructively on our queries...

I just called to the schol on 0120 - 4509100 ....lady who picked the phone, was in so much hurry to put down the phone as if she was going to miss the flight....

I got the E-Mail on the first E-Mail id that I gave in form. And I got this E-Mail yesterday about 12. I had my interaction on 19th Sep 12:30pm slot.

E-Mail says: Admission in pending and will be updated in week's time.

I have got the same answer "You will get the call within the week if your ward is selected as assessment is still in progress."

This was really a mismanagement from such a reputed school.

That's probably correct. But they might call to some of us if in case some parent do not admit their child and seats are not filled.

And there are some parents like me, who has not got any mail. We had interaction on 20th.

Hi All,

Today we did the admission formalities for our son in DPS Noida. I am mentioning the details below who are seeking admission for their kids in DPS. Here is the process:-

> We filled online form on DPS website and waited for the confirmation on the same link using our login credentials created at the time of filling the form.

> After 2 weeks or so we found that the information regarding the selection for interaction has been updated on website along with the date and time and desired documents that needs to bring at the time of interaction.

> Our interaction was on 18th Sep at 10:30 AM. We received the call as well for the same in the morning.

> On 18th Sep, we deposited the registration fee. Then, the interaction process started.

> Teachers took our kid to a different room and we were asked to fill a questionnaire in the mean time.

> Then teacher called as along with our child asked few things from our kid like any rhyme, puzzles, odd one out, coloring activity and so.

> Then we were asked to wait for another round with Principal.

> A group of 8-10 parents along with the kids was called in a meeting room and we were asked to give our introduction, few details about our kid and why DPS.

> Then we were informed that the result will be declared on Sunday night i.e. 21st sep on the same website.

> We were informed on Monday via call that we are shortlisted and we have to come with the desired documents on 23rd Sep morning in school premises to do the admission formalities.

> We deposited the DD of 80,000 and the donation amount that they asked for girl child education program run by the school.They asked us to deposite the original birth cretificate also.This amount include the fee for 1 quat as well. They dint disclose the tution fee for 2015 session. However, we came to know that the last year tution fee was around 5600.

One thing that bothered us was mis-management. Proper information is not provided to parents and the overall admission process was not sequential.

Now, we are hoping for the best for our son that we have opted the best option for me.

How much is the donation? Why did not they tell quarterly fee? That's bad. They need to tell all that. Break of up 80K?

Donation is minmum 20k to max 40k i suppose. They have not decided the fee yet as we gathered from them. Thsi is the information that i have:-) Sorry.

That's one cheating DPS does on name of donation. Since they charged one quarter fees then how come they have not decided how much would be for next quarter?

It is mandatory that's what I have heard about DPS from my friend if you can't pay donation, then they don't allow admissions as well. This is total fraud giri from these schools even APJ also does the same thing and even a few more schools too.

I have not heard about donation in Amity Noida. I don't think they take any thing on name of donation and Amity Noida taking some where around 73K only. I am sorry I am not much aware of Kothari but heard it has good stuffs and fee also on high side as well.

I heard that APJ is taking 19K on name of some Satya Woman or so as the actual first time fee is about 78K or so. So APJ takes, might be name is differs from donation to some thing else.

We admit our kids in APJ, then why are they charging on name of Satya university? Will they take admission without paying it? I am sure No.

If you say about fight, I had lot of arguments to get receipt of Rs 1000 which they charged for form, and you know what was their reply, they said, they don't give receipt whether we take form or not. This was their behavior.

I found APJ most fraud school in admission process, they don't give receipt, no receipt for form submission and interaction schedule, No online process, nothing. Total cheating.

same for me.. We had interaction on 19th 12:30 pm, no calls or email. website showing the old status.

I also got Interaction today on DPS Noida..they told to wait till 30th Sept.

Nidhi APJ is better than bal bharti and likes. Fees wise more or less all are same. Be it Amity, APJ or DPS they all will charge more or less same or some or other context. It was similar last year too. As far as results are concerned with the current CBSE format it doesnt matter that much till X grade and then all these schools are fairing good. Moreover I do not attribute CBSE results as a measure of success of all these schools coz that is more individual based. All of them have experienced faculty. What these schools provide is exposure(like international olympiads, peer group etc) to the kid which is certainly more in these schools.
