    Guys, I have got only APJ in my kitty so far, and waiting for DPS Noida's final result as kid's status was in pending. Last date to deposite fee at APJ is 30th till 12pm. What to do? Wait for DPS Noida or go for APJ? Please suggest?

    @ narendera ask dpsn for their result frm school itself....they shud give some hint regarding this as we are not in condotion to loose seat in apj...mine is same situation....will go dpsn on monday to hav some idea....otherwise have to deposit fees..in apj....

    Thanks Nidhi..Actually user reviews says VBPS better but recently times of India Put BBPS on 6th Rank of Leaders while VBPS on 4th Rank of challengers..not sure the validity of such ranking..

    Guys, I did go to DPS Noida to check status which is in pending status, first of all they did not allow to enter the school. Security guy only asked some teacher, and they said things can be clarified only after 30th.

    30th is my last day to submit the fee @ APJ , not sure what to do

    Because they are clearing the vacant seats from the result declared on 21st. This is the reason they have kept entire process non transparent. Even I had deposited fee in apj. I would suggest don't take the risk of loosing the seat

    Hey parents don't worry. They have not yet declared complete result. Suppose they wanted to select 50 seats on 21st but got confirmation for only 30 so their 20 seats are vacant. Now they first mailed yesterday those from the wait list from 21st to fill 20 seats. It's not now necessary that even those 20 seat got filled yesterday so they will first look how much is the total seats remaining vacant accordingly they would start calling. So don't be disheartened. Not only dps all schools have this time adopted this approach.

    Because within my known many parents got selected like this. Sir just link things and you too will come to this conclusion. Unlike previous years why these schools not putting list in public and why calling or mailing parents. See major portion of patents since last couple of years are falling for international schools so rush in these schools have fallen considerably. Till Jan 2015 you will see in traditional schools approx 5% of the total allocated seats would be vacant. Same happened last year till March 2014 admissions were carried

    Secondly if they are so transparent why don't they simply refuse parents approaching them that ward is not selected instead giving them date of 30th. Why don't they change status in website to rejected.

    Rishi you make complete sense, i think I will take risk and will not deposit fee until DPS not communicating rejected or selected. My APJ's last day to deposit fee is 30th. Also cambridge result will be out on same day, if my kid gets in Cambridge then i will have few more days to wait for DPS, and any ways i can go with Cambridge too if in not selected in DPS

    Richa dps is a brand name that is it. Else all schools are the same.I have studied from Modern BK so know the importance of brand. If you are looking for a brand then go with dps

    Hi Richa, Even I m new to Noida, but what I all can say, DPS Noida is very old school better at things than all other schools like Amity, Apeejay, VBPS and etc. Better quality and brand.
    We all know that no school can give extra ordinary Academics but its we who need to work with kids for good academics but for rest of things DPS is good.

    Narendraji I don't second your thought. No school in Noida can beat Apeejay in academics, competencies of teachers and sports. DPSN is just a mixture of all with maximum weight age to just Brand Name

    Rishi, Yes, That's what one thing that I mentioned, DPS is big brand. Though they offer mixture of all things at good level too.

    Other thing, I want to mention here is, APJ used to very good at all things and that is used to be a few years back but it slowing down now as they have started little on money minting things. 

    Overall we can say, Few schools like APJ, DPSN, VBPS and a few more falls in same category but only matter is brand name and overall environment of school.

    At the end, sab kuchh theek hai yaar, we any way need to work with our kids to keep them on track. And we can't force every thing on one kid. Every kid is different so they will any way get what they deserve for does not matter what school they go to. 

    Bas wahi kahne ko ho jaata ki hamara bachchaa ek top notch school main jaata hai and because of this these schools taking benefit by charging huge money on brand name be it, APJ, DPS, VBPS and etc.

    Any one who was in pending status from DPS Noida and got any further confirmation for admission? If so, please share your interaction date and time.

    Tomorrow is my last day to deposit fee @ APJ, really pissed off, not sure what to do. DPS Noida created huge mess for parents. Such a nonsense was expected from DPS Noida.

    Narendraji I deposited fee at apj for my kids as can't take risk with dpsn. In case something comes up will take steps accordingly. I would recommend the same.

    Even I am not left with any other choice too. Tomorrow is my last day to deposit fee@ APJ, If nothing comes from DPSN today, then I will have to go tomorrow and deposit fee @ APJ.

    Cambridge Noida's result also be out tomorrow, so if my child gets in there than I might give it a little thought as my wife not convinced with these top notch schools  (APJ, Amity and a few more) processes.

    Narendra..I received a confirmation mail on 25 th sept..My date of interaction was on 18 the sept...Earlier I got a pending status but later on it was confirmed...I got a call frm dps noida of selection of my daughter also....Feeling now satisfied and happy....

    Did you manage to find any thing for transport. I am sure some thing must be there. If my kid gets (fingers crossed) in then we will figure out it.

    Not sure any one was in pending status from interaction 19th Sept batch got confirmation. I did got to school on Saturday and they said, they can only confirm after 30th Sept.
