All the parents of Noida area who are interested in getting their ward admitted in DPS Noida can join this group and interact among each other and can also interact with previous year parents who admitted their wards in Dps Noida
Hi Rishi, Thanks for your reply. Distance wise shiv nadar is 8 km and DPS is 12 km as we live on expressway. Also I am not sure if we go for international /new age school or traditional and here lies the whole confusion.
My kid also made it to Bal Bharati Noida now from waiting list. Just now, I got a call from school and they said, I can visit school tomorrow for fee submission and other formalities.
Need your suggestions, Today is my last day to deposit fee @ APJ too.
Waiting for DPS Noida too as it is in pending status.
Quick response will appreciated. Need your suggestions ASAP.
What I have found is, Bal Bharati Noida too is one of the good school in Noida, if you find list of top schools, then I am sure you will see Bal Bharati Noida in list but probably on lower section and that's because of less on extra circular activities.
So overall, for academics, Bal Bharati Noida falls in same category as APJ, DPS, VBPS and few more but Yes it is definitely lower on extra circular activities.
I think, I am gonna let go APJ for now and block a seat in Bal Bharati and if some how my son gets in DPS Noida this year, then I will definitely withdraw from Bal Bharati and go for DPS.
If my son not getting in DPS this year, then I can probably try for DPS and Amity Noida in next year too.
Naredra I would suggest don't do this blunder of going to bal bharti. Also dpsn and amity doesn't open for KG next year because their seats in Nursery are full. Bal bharti cannot be compared with APJ, dpsn or amity. Their academics is far behind. Only the Delhi branch has a name
Okay as you decide ..to block a seat is fine but bal bharti is not a school to go with.up to 10 or12.......try dps..this year or next..depending upon situation....i have a experience of bal bharti....
APEEJAY is better than Bal Bharti in all aspects . If your kid is selected for APEEJAY do not waste time and block the seat . You can always keep your options open later .....just a suggestion
Hi All. Please don't fall into this trap of Ratings which are almost paid. Each school is good and best till the time your child is performing and showing all round development. According to me India's top school Sanskriti is no where in the list but it is the best. School is just a platform for our kid to learn and attain education which we as parents can't give to fullest being not professional in that field. We can just give them our time and support to rise ad inculcate good values. So don't give too much of a thought into the ratings. Just relax and enjoy. Dpsn or any other school if doesn't select our child is not end of story.. I myself being a a modernite doesn't give weight age to such ratings and all.
Not yet, Today was last day for me to deposit fee @ APJ but I did not go to submit the fee.
Bal Bharti Noida has given me tomorrow's time to submit the fee, but I will not go.
I want this week to go and check for next week for final confirmation from DPS Noida. If I am not getting in DPS Noida, then I am sure I will get seat any of these school for sure such as Amity, APJ, Bal Bharti and Cambridge.
Every school has average 400 seats. So if we take top 12 schools then,
12* 400 = 4800 seats, I don't think schools will be able to find 4800 parents to fill their seats.
This calculation might sound fissy to some of you, But based on last one month scenario that I have seen, what I believe is, we can get seat in APJ, Amity, DPS Noida, Bal Bharti, Cambridge in end of November too, not in all then alt east in few of them.
Narendra someone mentioned 20k applications for FAS so in that case 4.8k is not a difficult game But yes generally seats are available in all schools till Dec-Jan.
My inclination towards dps was just becoz the reason of distance just 2 kms from home....otherwise academically all are good.dps is not extraordinary apj is doing well .....v.gud results in reality its a student which perform.......
Narendra I talked about FAS just to write that number. if FAS received 20k applications it means there are 20k parents looking for admission for their wards. So your calculations which consider number as 4.8k might not prevail however I do feel 20k is highly overskewed figure.
As per my estimates no school in Noida got more than 3K applications. May be FAS sails at a bit high side only because it's popular amongst people staying sector 62 and indirapuram being a Convent school
Now I am not bothered for seat in APJ, Bal Bharti, Cambridge and etc. If brand than I will wait for DPS noida if not getting in it, then I m sure we will get lot of options by end of this month too in all other schools that I have mentioned above.
Narender.....I dont agree....APJ and Amity may be better than DPS N on some parameters. Yes on BRAND name, DPS N scores more, because DPS is everywhere in India and abroad too.....but you may choose APJ and Amity over DPS N for other reasons like better academic results, better moral values, distance from home:). In Noida, APJ is a very well known school. Amity has also come up as a very good school. Someone who lives nearby to Amity and APJ might not want to send her kid to DPS N , travelling 15 KM......its not worth it...it would be better to send the kid to Amity or APJ, if it is just 3-5 KM. For brand value, I can just say - people do not always want MOCHA coffee.....some people just prefer Cafe Coffee Day (cheaper and tastier!!!!)
Thats correct Sikha but I can check APJ after DPS decision. For me APJ and DPS on same distance so preference more to DPS.
Amity was on top priority for me as it is very near but unfortunately my kid not selected in Amity after second interaction. If we get in Amity in their waitlist than I would prefer it too. Amity too is a global brand now.
Now tomorrow they say it will be published under login I'd whether Selected, Rejected or Pending.. Think parents are making them wait now in depositing fees which makes them postpone their results.
They had already given 1st oct....date to parents which was earlier 30 th sept...only after 1st situation will be clear...school knows this..every time they r saying tomorrow.. They should have told us 3 oct....why always tomorrow....
