Ritu , you are putting Mayur above Appejay & Amity ? please help if you have specific feedback about Mayoor.

@ paras: Amity is only a brand and nothing more atleast to me, and it stuffs kids- it has 15 sections in nursery, when the kids grow up they wouldnt have 15 sections- they would start clubbing 2 sections into 1, leading to a strength of 60-70 kids in one section, individual attention is compromised on in higher classes. there is too much of load of infrastructure due to the number of kids using it. I have a few colleagues/ friends whose kids study in amity different branches in delhi and noida- and everyone complains about the stress being put on kids in terms of homeworks and other paper works. I also have a few colleagues/ friends whose kids study in mayoor- havent got a single wrong feedback from any of them yet. To me atleast satisfied parents are more imporant that a brand name- even if my kid doesnt wear a reebok shoes, i dont mind him wearing a street side wear- as long as he is comfortable in it.

any one has taken  admission in Mayur school? can any one confirm the refund amount if i cancel it later?

@Paras- Fully agreed with lavanya's word. Apeejay and Amity both are over crowded school and was never in my list infact i applied for 3 schools only DPS, Mayoor & Amity( result awaited after second interaction) I will surely not opt for amity incase my son will be selected there. Abt mayoor i am very much convinced with their principal as she is EX dps Noida principal and working on same philosophy. Secondly student teacher ratio is less there as compare to amity and apeejay. They have their own fleets not the blue lines buses which other schools have. i personally feel at primary level child  needs more attention from teacher and school should maintain good relationship with parents also. I talked to few parents and all are satisfied with mayoor. Before filling up the form I talked to education counsellor who visited  my son's playschool for parent counselling she had also given positive feedback for mayoor.

please tell me how is mayoor noida in academics ? my son is shortlisted in mayoor & did't get any call from dps noida & amity  so sugest me ?

 I also got positive feed back about Mayoor, My daughter got selected but i want to know if i canceled the admission then how much money will be refundable, any parents who took this step before so plz reply me .

I have only two option Khaitan   and Father Agnel but both result will be out after 22nd so i am little bit confused what should we do,i think Mayoor fee of Rs 83000 is very high

Garima when you have good feedback about Mayoor , then why waiting for Khaitan & Fr. agnal. Please clarify.

 what will the refund amount if i cancel admission later?

 they have ask to submit original birth certificate. is it mandatory ?

 i am waiting for the result of VBPS , cabridge( completed interaction) , also interested in somerville and FAS( waiting for 1st list).

ya i has taken admission in Mayoor.

refund amount is 18k, and the overall fees is 84k approx. inclusive of 3 months tution fees and 2 months transport fees and activity fees. original birth certificate has to be submitted at time of submission along with photocopy of vaccination card. we paid the fees yesterday and around 23 people have taken admission in mayoor by paying fees as on yesterday afternoon.

In transfer case you know how much amount will be refundable,yesterday my husband discussed with teacher in Mayoor she said except 18000 thousand else amount will be refundable, but you have  any idea about refund policy someone says that not refund any amount.

I also finalised Mayoor school.

I will deposit the fees tommorrow.

As i know Mayoor school have good academic record and also good in other activities.

Mayoor feedback is overall good , 3-4 friends of my husband's admitted their ward in Mayoor and they are satisfied, i am looking for khatain also but khatain interection date is 22nd that is the last date of fees submission of Mayoor, Mayoor fees is too high i think that's why i want my ward admitted in Khaitain but after submitted fees of mayoor bcz i have no other option of school, that's why i asked about refund policy.

my kids pre-nursery school teacher and day care teachers kids study in mayoor, and they were saying that mayoor gives good amount of stress in both academics and in other activities, they were saying mayoor's way of giving homework is more creative, and doesnt put too much of unwanted stress on kids. if we compare fees of amity and mayoor apple to apple, there is a difference of 500rs. between monthly tution fees between mayoor and amity that also changed only this year. apart from that, i feel the difference in fees between amity and mayoor is because amity takes in more kids (almost double of mayoor), so the amount gets equated among the numbers, and fees/ kid comes down slightly.

@ josh: we had applied to amity, somerville international, millenium, apeejay and mayoor, DPS. we got regret mail from DPS (dont think they are too interested when both parents are working), we didnt go to apeejay for interview as son my had viral fever, all the other schools we got admission including amity, and we chose to pay fees in mayoor. Our process in noida ends here, we will want to apply in a few delhi schools (we stay in sarita vihar) in january- but for now i think we are through with the nursery grind in noida

pls discusss is this a international school or public & which pattern they follows like ncrt or cbse

@ shalini- which class have you taken admission in? And which play school does your child go 2. Even i stay in Vasundhara and we are still contemplating whether to take admission in Mayoor in pre nursery or not.

Nayeerasadaf ji I have taken admission of my son in Mayoor school in  nursery.

And my son goes in Mothers pride in pre-nursery from last one yr.

@ shalini- well my son did not meet the nursery age criteria so still unsure whether to take  admission in pre nursery thr or wait 4 delhi schools. anyhow all the bets for your son :-)

nayeera even my daughter fall short of 20 days to qualify for nursery in Mayoor. But we had an interaction few days back. ZPrinciple was satisfy with her performance. result will come on saturday. Better you judge your son that which class is batter for him to join.

Damandeep , Mayoor gives admissions till feb-mar also our delhi parents who could not get in any decent delhi schools took admissions after  results in march after results for delhi schools last year

this is totally wrong my son get admissioned in nursery & one of my

friend wanted his child get into mayoor she went to school for admission after the admission process was over ,she requested the staff & principal but she said the admission is over now.so ur totally wrong sakshi

Finally i also admitted my daughter in Mayoor because Mayoor feedback is overall good, yesterday was the last date of fees submission.

@Aparna , I have got nothing against the school BUT IF U WISH I CAN GIVE U LINK OF OUR FEATURED DELHI MEMBER AND HE FOUGHT AND FILED RTI AGAINST SALWAN  PUBLIC SCHOOL (RAJENDER NAGAR) LAST YEAR BUT WHEN COULD NOT GET ADMISSIONS , HE SHIFTED TO NOIDA TOOK ADMISSION IN FEB OR MAR LAST YEAR FOR SAME SESSION TO BE COMMENCED IN  APR 2011 .

@Punit see this year we have even more  new(additional) schools. Can anyone predict the future ?

Yes this i m sure Dps noida/ Somerville/ Fas /Amity Noida/ Apj are very much sought after

But are you aware that even new amity vasundhara (new branch) came with ad in news paper in jan again  with admissions open this year (i think last year also).

So we have to give honest view and i know no parent likes to listen anything against the school where his/her child goes to .

To add more last week parents got call from scottish high after Heritage results came ( parents withdrew and vacancies were created in one of most sought after school  (Scottish High)in gurgaon)

Last year very few delhi parents who just wanted admission in DPS /Modern/Springdales booked seats in advance (to be on safer side)in LVIS Noida after admissions were over .

So its not only Mayoor where seats are available.
