Pls share your meeting experience with Maxfort.

I have Question If these schools are giving direct admission calling parents, then what about the list or draw? All seats are filled internally.

Any please share, what is  the last date to submit Fee Draft at DPS, Bal Bharati, do we need to submit just Draft or need to submit copy of registration slip along with it. Pls confirm

DPS:- only draft, on of draft reg. number, father's name, child's name and phone number

General Question:

Does management quota seats require that the forms were filled before deadline or is it like anything that the school likes?

Even we got a call from Indraprastha School this morning but they are calling for verification of Documents. they called to inform us to carry all original documents as they are shortlisting the list. I don't think anyone is offering any seats right now when the school will be anyways displaying the list. i am not being optimistic about they called by thinking they will offer the seats as a child always comes with his or her own Destiny & Fortune. Schools who are offering seats on First come First Serve are doing this openly so even Indraprastha would have done the same as no one is stopping them for doing this. Even For R D Rajpal school; the list will be anyways declared and the call is Just to verify the documents which have been submitted. As in case there are some fishy elements trying to forged the documents to get admission then they wont be able to make the supporting documents in such a short span of time.

If it is for verifications of documents, i think we all will get call as a process. Also, why a school is taking so much pain for verification of documents prior to display of list?

I am sure, in any case, all schools in dwarka will be loaded with applications.

The question came when one parent confirmed here that she has been called for admission.

I met a teacher from Dwarka area recently and she told me that most of the schools do not admit any students under EWS quota. Most of them send names of wards of their teachers as EWS students to the government to show that they are meeting the criteria. Actually, those seats are also diverted to general category.

I think we should compile the sum of general category seats in dwarka schools. I believe DPS would have got maximum number of applications and from what I saw last, that number is touching 2500 or so. If the number of seats in Dwarka is somewhere around this number, then parents should be relaxed that they would get a seat at least in one school. 

I asked this question to one of the schools and they said that we will not need to submit the form again. If the apex court changes the guidelines, then the schools will re-evaluate the points.

Friends, can i get my son admitted in 1st standard, his date of birth is 20th April 2010..

Any news on Basava?

I will update the details tomorrow as my inclination is that they are verifying the documents so as to prepare the list for Lottery. Rest is what the things will get cleared.

Did any one visited Maxfort school ? What is goal of this meeting ?

Any one applied in St. Francis school Janakpuri from Dwarka ? I also want to apply for my kid but confused about locality option.

Vijender, I met them almost 2 weeks back when they called me.
They were giving admission to my daughter without donation but entire fee to be paid. I didn't do as I wanna wait for more schools. Though I have heard its a good one too.

On some people request, I am sharing what happened when we met the Chairperson there in Maxfort. There were many parents like us sitting. Before entering the room, mobiles had to be switched off then the chairperson (lady) started telling about their school. Since I stay in Janak Puri, she told me I have rare chance to get selected in any school becoz of points so she is giving us now but ward will go to Junior branch now and will come in 2nd or 1st (don't remember what she said) in big school. Also, that offer she gave us was valid until 31st dec only. Rest, we have to wait until school list come, :( we said we will think and let them know but then we thought to wait. JM also called but one of my friend took her child out of the school. Her feedback was poor rather very poor especially in terms of their maid and meal service. So I have cancelled JM :( Honestly after visiting so many schools, I personally liked 2 in Dwarka. Sacheva Global and Indian Heights.

Yes Rakesh. so they told us to submit fee by 31st Dec which we didn't. Now they may have started 2nd set of people.

Hearing these kind of experiences of parents, Day by day m getting worried that do we(Parents of Middle family or whom Schools not calling) will get our ward name shortlisted in any of the schools.................?

We all share some worries here.

I don't think it has anything to do with our class. Most of us would be from middle class only.

For exceptions, management seats are there.

All parents have done their part now. Let us wait for the result.

I need to go tomorrow to Maxfort. 5 Years back it was one of the best school in Dwarka but not now, I think they are asking fees of whole year in one go so that parents will not go in any other school later.

I applied in EWS category. Yesterday the faculty of Mount Carmel came to my house for verify things without information. I was not at home that time & orignal documents were with me. Plzz tell me the chances of admission. I already submit the xerox of all document with form.

My personal views are favourable for St.Thomas. I will go for it. The location of the school is not very much appropriate but considering other factors, i will surely ignore it.

@Birendra Singh. School req. 5+ in 1st on 31st March or 1st April. Ask school if they consider him for class 1 as you son is just 20 days older. Otherwise for KG.

I really appreciate that Mount carmel school is checking all the EWS applications by visiting there residence. As it is very easy to create and cheat by using EWS certificate.

MBS Reviews are not good, An Admission counselor is there to tell us about the schools, I was there for 20 mins last week, she update us about the all school patterns and like us to apply till 6th and pay fees to block the sheet, in clear words she want to say that MBS is one of the best schools in Dwarka, School Location is also i didn't liked. No idea about SAM

I would like to again make it clear that please do not take admission in any school if your are not sure 100% to admit your ward there, otherwise your money will not be refunded as according to DOE we just have 1 month time for refund and right now its too early.

Whole game of nursery admission will change if there is some judgement from court on 15th Jan against schools.

Reviews are:-

In my opinion, the admission procedure will not going to withheld as suspected by some members. This is judicial procedure and schools are well aware how to tackle this situation. Any change may be expected from next years. So, do not bother about SC's hearing on 15th Jan. Even SC will not favour to derail the procedure this year.
