All the parents of DWARKA who are interested in getting their ward admitted in DWARKA Schools can join this group and interact among each other and can also interact with previous year parents who admitted their wards in Dwarka Schools.
Okay! My verdict by getting into One to One season with mostly all schools in Dwarka is i wont consider those schools who are inclined to favor the "First come First Serve" option. I have been to Indraprastha today and my feedback about the School is no no. The schools which lacks in Transparency would come out to be commercial today or tomorrow. We visited and they called to verify the documents. But during the conversation the Lady sad that you need to Block the Seat for the ward by this Thursday by paying 81000 Approx which is not including any tution fee or any component from the School fees structure. When confirming that weather they will give me the receipt for the same they sad no. I asked if i do not pay you anything by Thursday what will happen; she sad then the lottery will happen and then you have to Pay 51,000 which is apart from again any fees. My experience is i wont be giving any money in Black to any school (Indraprastha, MBS, Maxfort, OPG, JM Interntional). It will give them the liberty to do this practise every year making this proffesion a lucrative churning format. This schools are not worried about the vision and focus towards Education but will emphasis once you open your wallet. things are difficult but i will face this as a challenge and all kids do have there own destiny and all kids will be doing good in there life.
one more note - If anyone wants to block the seats then later on in case they do not want to opt for the paid option then the money wont be paid. Simple reasoning. no receipt no refund. So be aware that what you are paying wont have any proof. We need to understand that in case we follow this concept then next year the parents will suffer more or have to do a FD for one year to Choose a school which they find suitable for there ward and talk confidently as a business deal for admission.
Very good @ Ratandeep that's the spirit and I think that every parent should go by the same view.We all are responsible for the present scenario we give and they take If every parent takes a pledge and decide not to take the back side entry then we all together can make a change.
Last year I was fed up of attending the dra ws and the procedures but was completely unsuccessful because all the schools( leave one or two) have already filled there seats by back door entries and were just making fool of all the parents I decided not to pay any donations and took admission in Vishwa bharti school
True! so I visited Maxfort n OPG but didn't get admitted. Now they, even JM is not in my list at all. I think paying more fees in school is still better than paying bribe.
i have earlier decided not to pay any money besides fees and other charges for which receipt shall be given. In my opion, more or less all the top 15-16 schools have same standards then why to pay money to thses schools. And rest depents upon the destiny.
I understood the process of admission very clearly now. The EWS seats are actually offered to mixture of less number of EWS applicants and in the same category the staff quota is accommodated. What remains in that specific EWS category and then the staff category is with Donation (Highest BID wins as we do in EBay). Learning this lucrative process I wonder wither there is any lottery as I am sure it’s picked up voluntarily. So the conclusion is sit and waits for the list of all schools that anyone & everyone have filled. despite the fact in case you don’t get the name in the list then collect at least an amount of 1-2 Lakhs handy any try next year or even this year and go shopping for the seats. Its just like a shopping festival and earlier you bid and pick you win. This is not my negative thought but a positive thought to get my child educated under this system. Wonder how the Department of Education works without the scrutiny into this kind of practices.
Try out Sadhu Vaswani school(girl school only)....its a good school situated in Satya Niketan...they have transport facilities across several parts of west delhi e.g paschim vihar, vikas puri, janakpuri, rajouri garden, subhash nagar etc etc. Very good infrastructure, highly neat and clean, ample ground for kids to do outdoor. Distance is little high but as a parent we must be prepared to not be too soft.
@ Priya ji are u from school side? It seems that u targeting some schools & speaking in favour of sum without giving actual facts. Indian heights is asking 70000 for adm. Each and every school is asking sumthing. On the basis u can't target sum particular schools. U r completely misguiding everyone on this forum
Thanks Ratandeep for sharing your experience, are you staying outside dwarka?
Last to Last year they were demanding 70k and this time 81K, believe me the school will get lot many admissions using this. Many parents who are residing in Hari Nagar, Vikas Puri, Tilak nagar etc..will take admission here as they will not fit in admission criteria(Distance etc..). Many EWS/Management seats etc will be filled like this.
Last but not the least clap for you for not giving any donation. Parents please feel free to share your experiences if you have any like this.
we drove up to mount carmal(28) and asked local ppl, none of them were able to direct us to this school. and my husband got tired and we left without seeing this school.
i was very keen on this school, since my friends son goes to St mary's, and has given glowing reviews about at Mary's.
good luck locating it, if you do let me know, if they are still giving out forms.
My son got admitted in Indian Heights 2 years back and I didnt pay anything except the normal annual/1st time admission charges. You can get thru the newer & not so popular schools like IHS/DIS/Presidium/MBS even later without paying this much amount as no of folks applying is less and defaulters are more (those who dont join as they get admission to other more sought after ones)
Like 2 yrs back, Sought after money minded premium schools like Maxfort, VIS/SVIS/Indraprastha are doing the same this year too - exactly the same - calling parents to school and asking them to pay spl amount for sureshot seats. Seems nothing has changed. Those that stand out Relatively in terms of integrity are also still the same - Bal Bharti, Mount carmel, DPS.
IHS is a good school from Step1,2 (Nursery KG) perspective. Being new gen school You get International school facilities at reasonable fees (much lesser as compared to others) including Tab kids etc. As such I dont have cons for it. Areas it lacks is, being new like other similar newer schools they are taking time to stabilise, teachers seems to be paid less are less experienced and they switch mid session, course content is changed at times etc.
THis is again my personal opinion - most of the premium schools (or so called international) in Dwarka are good for nursery KG (personal attn, facilities, activities, playway method etc) and if the parents have shorter plans of staying in delhi then it shouldnt matter much.
Its for higher/long term where it matters. Like in my case IHS is having not so good reputation for class 1 onwards - where you get single teacher managing 30-40 students in almost all schools and experience/stability matters a lot then. And this is where one wants to go for DPS/Mt carel etc kind of schools for with proven reputation and time tested.
Hello Vipin. This is disappointing when you say all this to someone who helps. I stay in Janak Puri but I have filled most of my forms in Dwarka only and moreover I have only shared on people requests what happened with me. I am surprised you write this here. I thought we all are parents here and we always have private inboxes to chat something against (if anyone wants). I am sorry if anyone is hurt but intentions were only to help. I went to Schools for admissions who called me before and so shared. Thanks!

You are right Ave maria's address and phone number seems to be a closely guarded secret.
It is in Bamoli village, if you have seen the new primary branch of Mount Carmel in sec 28, ave maria is near it.
google maps has its location.
