It is great we are realizing, this panic schools are trying to create is artificial. There is enough seats for all the kids in this region. If there was less seats, why would maxfort, jmis offer seats twice. And start offering management quota. Its insane to ask 2.5 Lakhs for pre school admission. 

I think we all will get seats in good - decent schools without paying donations.

vis is known for 'milking money'like this. I recently heard from an aunty in my society, her son studied in VIS. After 10th boards, They asked for money to give them desired group in 11th std. 

@ kapil- paramount website isn't working since new years. 

@ brijesh- I too think modern convent is a good school. 

@ ranjan - I too heard NBS total fee for last year was Rs90,000, its 1.6 lakhs this year. They have almost doubled this year. Completely unjustified

Don't make this forum as battleground - we are here to discuss and present our personal views. The person reading them has all the liberty to accept or reject - partially or completely. Its just like we receive 100 mails everyday and choose which ones to read and follow. Even after that, we rely on our own judgement as whatever we read or understand and then act upon is our responsibility. For E.g. if someone isn't satisfied with the school they admitted their child - its not the problem due to this forum alone. All of us must be using much more information sources than solely relying on this forum to understand more about schools and make diligent choices.

By the way, choices can go wrong and they go wrong (like in elections, food ordered, restaurants, route to go to office/market/customer meeting - everyday we make several choices) - so what, we amend the ways/methods, get the learning and go forward with the Best possible and available choices at that moment.

So don't worry, keep expressing and don't leave this forum. Leaving or running away never solved problems/issues/disagreements - at least Not for ME

Its true leaving or running away never solves any problem but on the other hand it’s a public platform, we should be more careful while writing anything bad or good about anybody. As it can hurt anybody’s feeling.  

Moreover any good or bad comment about anyone influences many…..  

I also agree with Akaash Vahi, when we talk about ethics not to give any kind of donation to the schools who are asking for on the other hand everyone is agreeing with Lokesh Mehta for taking admission by paying more money under management quota in certain schools “so called good schools” as mentioned.

Now friends we have to see what ethics is or what is not?

BTW, tomorrow morning I am planing to visit ITL, Indian heights, DAV, indraprastha &  DIS. Will try to take pic and upload in the forum. Most schools seem a bit slow in the online updating front. 

@ ranjan - I called ITL on Saturday, they said list will BT displayed on Monday. Let's see if they have changed that. I will any way go to rd rajpal to ask about detailed fee structure. Might as well check itl.

Hi All, I am sorry as I was away for long and now seeing so many views. I completely agree not to pay hefty amount for no reasons and thus I didn't go for Maxfort and VIS Sec 10 junior when they called us.
I have options now of Sachdeva where my daughter name is in confirmed list and then SRWS and RDR. I am waiting for ITL and others today and tomorrow else will secure a seat in Sachdeva only. BTW, anyone who can share their views on Sachdeva? Is it really worth if I don't get in any other until 14th Feb? Is it better than Maxfort?

As per the exiting schedule, ITL , Indian heights and Modern convent were supposed to display list of eligible candidates today.

We will wait for Shivshankari to update us on this after her visit to these schools.

I am completely fed up with this Donation Stuff. I have booked a flat in Noida and hope in next two years, will be handed over to me. At any cost I am not going to reside at Dwarka, once my flat is handed over to me. My daughter who will be completing three years on 23-Mar-15 is presently in Divinity Play School, Sec-22. I  have decided not to get admitted in any one of the so called good school an continue in present one. However she got selected in RDR, SRS Worls, JM International. Once I move to Noida the I will put her there in any so called Good school. I thought a lot and come to this conclusion, should I give second though on my opinion. Honest advise please.

Anyone going there can help identifying for me too?

@Anupam, if you reside in sector 22/23, you still have options of Basava, Indian Heights which are better than SRS World and JM. You can even try for Presidium which isnt bad. I stay in sec 22, my son has been attending Presidium from past 1.5yrs (he's 3.5yr old now), personally I am quite satisfied with the school at least for kindergarten classes.

1 update, I called VIS sector 10, and come to know that there will not be any draw, they will display list of selected wards after 23rd Jan......I m worried now, why all r postponing dates, r they waiting for parents to come and give donation ????
