To all those who want to get their ward admitted in Sachdeva.........I went to SGS yesterday. I was not selected in main draw as i have a son. I asked for mangmnt seat. they came with demand of Rs.60,000/- in cash with no receipt. Now, i have ruled out this option not because i can't afford this but for two reasons first it will hurt me all my life that i have given a wrong start to my ward (by giving undue money to first school) and secondly, this batch of SGS is almost going to be a girl batch. This will surely hamper my ward's mentality, attitude.

Hmmmmm, Gaurav! This is disappointing me where my ward name was selected in this school and as per this forum people only I was sure to get her admitted there.
One more thing Gaurav, all schools have management quota where they will ask for money and give admission to only those who can pay extra. We all are fighting for general seats only but there may be many who can pay any amount and get their seats reserved there so you will find that in all schools including DPS, MCS etc.

Don't be disappointed. We all know meaning of management seats and gaurav asked for the same. Your decision should not be affected just because of this.

@Ranjan, each and every school has management quota which in my opinion is filled ONLY by paying extra/hefty money. Each school has put a value to its mgmt seat depending upon its popularity. We know VIS is charging 2.5L, who knows DPS is asking for 5L. Somebody mentioned today morning that Sachdeva is asking for 60k. In that sense, each of them are same and should be equally blamed. Ideally, there shouldn't be any mgmt seat at all.

I second Ruchika but since this time Govt allowed them to have management seats, all schools are doing this.

I went to Modern Convent, there was a big list displayed of all the candidates eligible mostly having points from 50 to 80. I forgot my phone at home so could not take the pic. It was told that draw will be held on 17th Jan

same prob here, both list confused Regn no. sarting with D is not is eligible list, but if we see all sheets then it is there, no idea

I think most of the schools will do this only. First release their list and then start selling MQ seats.

Ranjan, you are right! VIS Junior, I personally attended :( for 2.5 lacs. Since Sachdeva and even Indraprastha doing later so I thought probably this is how they do. I am new to this so have no clue :( first child

RDR has a big ground in comparison to JM.

High court has given permission to school to have management quota, there is nothing we can do, if schools reserve 20-25% seats as management seats, but it should be illegal  for schools to push management seats to those who applied for general seats. 

true shivshankari, this is how everyone perceives that management quota is for their internal sources and links and not for general. many schools calling you first are taking your name out from even general list :(
