@ Meenakshi -yes I am all set with basava.

I don't know what else toc all that , point system clearly shows schools heavy bias towards siblings.

  • Shivshankari Sethu

@ manju ask the school authority. If you ve 70 points. Paying a visit might be worth it

  • Rajesh

How is GD Goenka Dwarka... got call from them..

  • abhat

Year after year DPS Dwarka does the same thing. Almost all of the candidates every year who get selected are either thru sibling or alumni points. With this logic even the siblings who would have got in earlier into the school would have been wards of alumni only.So essentially they dont seem to be interested in including anyone outside the DPS legacy. There should be a % of seats reserved for these 2 categories. Rest all should be lottery. Just venting my frustration - know that no one will hear this or do anything.

  • G.I. Joe

@Abhat Atleat it costed Rs. 25.00 only for the damage...think if we would have paid something around 1000 for the same...

  • Gaurav Gupta

The 25 rupees draft for DPS would have easily cost some people more than Rs. 100 (fuel + parking + bank fees).

  • Rajesh

    @ Abhat & Roy...

I already know this will happen .. so i didn't filled the form of DPS

  • Sneha Gavane

    @ Abhat I certainly agree with u.
  • GAURAV SINDHWANI

I agree with you Gaurav Gupta !!!

  • Rajesh

Hello everyone...I know GD Goenka Schools are good but please let me know

How is GD Goenka Dwarka ??????

  • Gaurav Gupta

Can someone please rate the following schools on quality of education and fees separately?

DIS, Paramount, Maxfort, RDR, JM, SRW, QV, Sachdeva

  • Parul Arora

Has Modern convent came up with "List of confirmed applicants along with the list of applicants eligible for draw of lots" , which ws scheduled for today?
  • Sonika Malik

Out of Sachdeva and RDR,which one scores better?
  • Sneha Gavane

@ Rajesh , Sachdeva is better. GD Goenka is just encashing the brand name. Only sho-sha. Though it is my personal opinion.
  • vaanya

    @ ranjan

I have not received any call so far from sachdeva just one SMS i received after tht i called sachdeva but noboday did respond me..

  • vaanya

Sachdeva seems to be expensive..11k per month..any idea about ST thomas? now waiting for BGS, NKB, BBPS, Bal bhawan..will visit tomorrow for ST thomas as my name was not there though i got 70 points (due to the reason i did mistake while registration

  • Parul Arora

    @priya
would Sachdeva refund admission fee too and only deduct one month fee?
  • Sandeep Pal

@Gaurav Gupta. According to me its. Maxfort>Suchdeva>JM>DIS>Paramount>RDR>SRW>QV

  • Sandeep Pal

    @Sonika Mallik. Suchdeva is better.

  • Rajesh

How is Indian Height as comapred to RDR and their Fee

  • kuldeep raj saxena

COULD PZL ANY ONE SUGEST IN WHICH SCHOOL IMSUT GO AHED FOR ADMISISON FOR MY DAUGHTER I NNURSERY AMONG THE FOLLWINGS I NDEARKA ,WHICH AMONG BEST FOROVER ALL DEVELOPEMNT OF CHILD EVE NAFTER NURSERY TO HIGH SCHOOL ?

    1. MAZFORT 2. RDRAJPAL 3.JM INTERNATIONAL 4.THE INDIAN HEIGHTS

  • abhat

IHS is good esp at nursery level with current fees of 5500 per month excluding mid day meal and transport. It might have been increased form upcoming session which i am not aware of.

'In my opinion' Its better than RDR, JMIM and DIS.

Again I dont think its practically possible to label a school better than others in one go in general and its always subjective. A parent in RDR might rate it best if their ward is among the best in their class and hence getting all teachers attention and focus. Another parent in same school might be dis-satisifed as they expect more attention esp if the kid is not doing good as per parent expectations.

  • abhat

Also 2 yr back my ward too got thru RDR, JMIM, DIS, SAM, MAXFORT but i opted for IHS.

'In my opinion' one doesnt really have to be worried abt DIS as one can get into it even after admission process is over (without any donation etc) as they are very 'accommodating'.

  • abhat

It has a playground but smaller one (unlike the big one RDR has). Better visit the school to have a look. Abt school i already mentioned in earlier comments.

  • kuldeep raj saxena

so u mean I must go for RDR , NOT MAXFORT ,OR OTHERS ..?

  • abhat

@Kuldeep I am not recommending anything...your choice should depend on various factors you have preference for - distance from home, Traditional vs new age schooling, Infrastructure, duration till when you plan to continue in delhi and same school, Academics vs Activity based, Brand preference, AC vs Non AC, Fees etc etc

There cant be one recommendation for all parents - if that was the case RDR or SAM might have been almost empty.

  • Rahul Seth

    @ To All,

Wanted to know about Pros and Cons of Presidium in short and long term except COST.

    Please help

  • abhat

I chose IHS as I had 2-3 yrs horizon for my ward at that time and i liked the school infra and personal attention for kid. Ground didnt matter for me then as for 3/4 yrs kid they dont need a huge football ground to run around. All they need is more activities and for that even smaller ground is suffice. For a class 5 student though ground would matter.

  • Rahul Seth

Completely agree with Abhat on last comment

  • kuldeep raj saxena

@ abhat.....I agree with u , ground does not matter , need education  ,  affordable, learning mechanism, care n attention, extra activity , but over all child development .. modern age , distance, ...looking for nursery to XI to be continued ,,

  • vimal srivastava

@ Mohit - i ve secured a seat in Basava.

  • Gaurav Gupta

What are the chances in bal bharti with 80 points?
  • Shivshankari Sethu

@  Ranjan.  thanks a lot.  well it is :)

  • DHEERAJ SHARMA

Gaurav, I feel fairly very good chance in Bal Bharathi with 80 points.

  • Mohit Aggarwal

    @Shivshankari,

what all is required to secure a seat?

  • Rupesh Banwari

Why RDR demanding PDCs for fees?? Any idea..

    Appreciate your help.

    Thanks..

  • KAPIL KAPURIA

    @Shruuty : I ALSO AGREE WITH MR.JHA.

1 MORE THING RDR SEAT IS OPEN TILL 24TH. SO DNT TAKE TENSION FOR RDR. WAIT FOR RESULT OF OTHER SCHOOLs. IF YOU DO NOT GET ADMISSION ANYWHERE THAN GET ADMISSION IN RDR.

  • KAPIL KAPURIA

@ Rupesh Banwari : RDR IS ACCEPTING CHQ FOR ADMISSION OF 24K & PDC FOR QTLY FEES THAT THEY WILL USE IN MARCH. SO I DONT THINK THERE IS ANY HARM..

  • Shivshankari Sethu

@ Mohit- Original documents for verification, regisstration slip, check for Rs 60,000(non-refundable)

@ Shrruty - As ranjan said, If i had option between RDR and JMIS i would happily take RDR. how much time has JMIS given you?

  • Rupesh Banwari

    Thanks Kapil Ji :-)
  • Ruchika Saxena

@shivshankari...is basava accepting cheque too, they asked us to get DD ? Please confirm.

  • Shivshankari Sethu

@ Ruchika- Basava accepted check from us.

@Shrruty - i think RDR's last date is 24th, you can still wait for your other fav schools.

  • Shrruty Varma
