@Anupam Kumar. Fees is around 54000-55000 at the time of admission & 17500 qtr. including meal +transport (2000-2500) monthly

Any information about VIS Draw and GD Goenka draw ?

@ Sonika, its not like that, I have visited RD Rajpal and they clarified that if someone apply for refund with in one month from the date od admission, the school will refund entire amount except admission charge i.e. 200 Rs and one month tuition fee, which totally comes around 6-7 thousand approx. However, for taking any decision on refund parents must consult to School and be self assured.

@Parul Sachdeva global is much better than Modern convent in all aspects. THere shouldnt be any doubts on this if fees difference doesnt matter to you.

I am in great Confusion while choosing the school.
My daughter got shortlisted in RD Rajpal, JM International, Dwarka International School, Bal Bhawan School...
Please suggest which one to choose interms of Academics, Sports and Overall Personality... I put up at Dwarka Sector 14....
Any Suggestion would be much appreciated...

@Shrruty - I woul suggest going to the school tomorrow morning and talk to them. THey might give you the seat. I remember the case of my neighbour 2 yrs back who was not there in 1st or even wait list but got thru due to this 1st come 1st serve thing without any donation etc. Schools might want prefer someone who is interested and wanting to pay the fees right away rather than the process of calling wait list folks and wait for them to come.

@Sumonto Ghosh...Its not our fault...even I am a father of a 3 Year old son.....Even i faced the same scenario this year...I have applied for 28 School being very precise....Only was lucky from

1 - R D Rajpal (As they know that the parents who will get unlucky from VIS Kids & Sri Venkateshwara will come to them for admission being R D Rajpal as parent school. Sri Venkateshwara and VIS & R D Rajpal are same Brand. So money is coming anyways to there shelter be it the draw date of any of this partner school).

2 - DIS - They know that being a average school and everyone fighting for schools like BGS, St. Thomas, Bal Bhawan, Bal Bharti, DPS, N K Bagrodia, Mount Carmel, Venkateshwara Sec 10 & Sri Venkateshwara Sec 18 and some more; will at the end come to them as there point system is designed is such a way that if one is sagacious enough to understand then its just for people baked with Sibling Point Mainly, Then Girl Child, That too if first child and then to boost there moral confidence to incline to those school is distance point. Boom Boom....the game is over for those...straight knockouts....there kids name will be there.....

3 - Paramount - No list is there...even they are playing a smart game....when you go and check the guard will say to check in reception and then the lady will ask you details and say yes your kid name is selected and you got a time till 17th'Jan'2015 to do the procedure....similar smart game that all will come at the end (I mean people like us who filled form in all good schools stated above without the methodology that the end result is actually null and at the end we have to incline to this schools...name a few R D Rajpal, Paramount, DIS, J M International, SAM, MBS, Aadarsh and few more).

So the plan will be the same next year and either its taking a call now for blocking the seat or wither you want to change the game what i want to disclose as i am going to do....

Wait...wait & wait....let the rush of this gets over.....the second list is also there in most schools....why (just because they know that even the most availed pointed profiles will also refuse to accept the seat probably because of Quarterly Fees, Distance, Lucky with 2 or more good schools to compare and some more favoring factors)....I will hunt after the second list is also over and all list whatever is over.....I will walk-in every school which I think I should have been lucky for my son and will check wither they do have seats left or not.....if yes then I will be lucky or else I am not scared as there are many schools who are calling to scare me...but the scare is actually within them that they are not getting good response and seats will get left after this admission season is over....just think about a fact...why all schools have seats in all classes? just because one moves from one to another school for many reason...realizing later about distance....good academics in other schools with less fee structure....this is not over till we fight....this is warm up season...get set and make your mind....its just you are getting panicked thinking the time left is short for this game...actually it not also the quarter season of the game...be smart...think logically from a mind that is going to let that kid get to his feet one day by all your dedication and care....we are not illiterate probably not inclined to understand the game but why not thinking sharp and be sagacious....the brain is on our top and t should be...thinking is never from toe...running to fill forms was listing yourself to that school....that was physical and now its mental thinking....play as a test match is played...not as a 20-20....rest up to you.....but note one thing that donation is just to enhance one to make the nation corrupt in which our kids will stand one day....think

@Shrruty Varma...Nothing to be pessimistic about the scenario...i am more strong now and confident that at least i can deal this quite openly as i am a good bargainer when i buy grocery and vegetables...so be it another element (Admission)....i know i will be good in manipulating with things that they (Schools) thing that they created to hunt the parents with a vague eagerness and panic...i am not going to sit and see....i am going to handle this headon

@Niti Are you sure that EWS seats are actually given to EWS profiles from People who ask for donations for per seat...when there is a good amount attached to every single seat who kills his lucrative call....I sad the brain is top part of our body and is framed because of a reason my lord...rest unfold your own questions you will know...its just that you want to panic so you are doing....

My daughter is selected in RDR and DAV sec 6 also DIS and Sachdeva Global are open. Please suggest which one is better RDR or DAV. I have to block one out of these, DAV last date is 19th and RDR last date is 24t.

She has been shortlisted  for St. Thomes having 70 points, document varification is tomarrow, but less chances because 65 odd seats will be allotted to sibling category. So 55 seats for 450 students. I have some reservations regarding it's location.

Also Ave Maria list is also expected tomorrow.

My child gets shortlisted in only in Nirmal bhartia till date...But school is asking for 1.6 lacs per annum + transportation.

Its too high..even more than Maxfort and Venkateshwara Intl...G D Goenka as well...Was not expecting Nirmal bhartia such a Business house....
