Yes shivshankari, we paid them and secured our seat in SVIS.

They took 2 cheques, one for 85K as a donation to their trust/society.The other one for 46K which includes annual charges (one time 18K) and first quarter fee (28K).

@ pankaj- generally the money you pay for society/ trust is non refundable.

IP, SVIS, RDR, ITL, Modern Convent & NMS (Nirmal Bhartia school)

@ Vijendra It seems you are the luckiest of the lot get through so many schools...

Virendra Ji.....besides DPS/MC/BB all schools are equal.......there is not much difference in IP, SVIS, RDS, ITL, Mod. Conv, NBS. In my opinon choose the school which is nearest to your home. Don't be a part of rat race in search of better school. Ulitmetely its your wards talent which matters most. Besides this parents play most improtant role and school comes at the third place. 

for DPS it is 8 seats and  2775 applicants for the draw on 21st Jan...

Further to the registration process for admission to Pre-School under General Category held
from 24 December 2014 to 07 January 2015 and verification of documents process of 111
applicants with 50 points & above held on 15 & 16 January 2015, there are 08 seats available
for admission.
There are 2775 applicants with an equal score of 45 points and are eligible for the draw of lots
for the available 8 seats. Draw of lots will be carried out for all these 2775 applicants to fill the
available 08 seats.

@ Isha- I visited this school when they called for an interaction.

school has 2 sections with 33 kids per section- 2 teachers and 1 maid in nursery and 1 teacher and 1 maid in KG.  their fee is ~1.6/year(i dont what it includes they just gave an overall figure).

They dont ve exams till 7std, but maintain a learning curve. They claim they focus more on team building exercises rather than competition.

if you are seriously considering this school, i suggest try and talk to parents of this school. there are contrasting feedback about NBS
