@ Parul Arora. there is no big difference between both the schools. Only difference is QV is only girl and sachdeva is co-ed. However, this batch of SGS is all girl batch so you should choose the nearest one to your home.

when i filled BGS form and noticed there isn't any space to inform about first child, i had e-mailed school my reg no and the fact that my daughter is our first child. i think many other parents did that. other wise the school had no way of knowing about first child. but if you ve ,mailed them now I suppose they will rectify that.

Yes you are right, my form shows GENERAL, and yes now that you are telling me, I remember that I also didn't find the option of first child in the form.
My wife actually went to the school today they didn't let her enter the school premises but she had a chat with some on the intercom and that person said 'don't worry they are coming up with another list in 2 days'
But yes if you want to go to the school, let me know what time, either me or my wife can come with you, if 11-11:30 suits you, my wife can come with you. My number 9811881821, you can msg me and I will give your number to my wife and she will coordinate with you.

Yes you are right, I think they are counting our points as 70, so I didn't mail them, didn't realise it while filling the form. I will mail them now, let's see if they accept.
BTW ... Do you think some 750 odd parents mailed them informing about their first born??

I think, that's the reason they have a week between announcement of list and draw.

I think according to their point system, the maximum point is 95 with sibling,
So next is within 8km and first born is 75.
And when my wife went today to the school they said they are coming up with another list ... So I think they will do the draw with all of them who have got 70 points now.

@ Deepak - it must be disappointing, but you could ask schools you applied to if they ve general seats left. Either personally go there, and schools which doesn't allow entrance of unauthorized person, you can call them and request for appointment.
Some other decent schools also have seats left later on , experts can guide in this regard.

@ Brijesh- i suppose your daughter is first born In that case, send a mail to school mentioning your reg no and your daughter's first born status.
It was a mistake on school form's part. there was no place to mention first born details. so the school would consider 70 to be your points

Lathaa Ji, its only registered candidates but not eligible :( Even mine is a first born but didn't get first born points. I called them and they said to send them an email which I did and now lets see.
