They are asking for 2 DDs

At last BGS only ... no more running around, Its walking distance from my place.

All the payments are DD only and you get bills for everything.

BGS doesn't have mid day meal.

Transport is extra 3600 for inside dwarka and 4500 for outside dwarka.

And actually my wife is the soldier here, she did all the talking and got us the seat. :)

yes, over and above the fees for the general category.

@ Sumonto Ghosh....I am still not clear with the amount....if i approach them for Management Quota Seat then what i have to pay on Spot to block the seat? Apart from Transport....

If you approach BGS for management seat, first you will have to meet the Principal, also given that you have filled the online form so that your son/daughter is a registered candidate. She will meet you, talk about the school and other stuff, she will ask you for the print out of the online form and she will write on the form that she is giving you a MQ seat, she will give you 3 days time to do the admission process, if you cant do it 3 days, the seat goes to next candidate.

Total cost for 1st Year (Nursery) @ BGS for MQ seat is Rs. 174000.00

From next year (for KG) its Rs. 80000 Approx.

@Vaanya, I think we are sailing in the same boat.. had two options in St Greg and St Thomas and yesterday I opted for St Greg. So for now, have to get the refund from St Thomas. Do let me know what you are doing about this... 

Also, all #other members, do share if any one of you are having the DOE Guidelines on Fee Refund Policy.

Do you have photocopy of the application submitted at Sachdeva? If yes, u can scan and send the same on school email id.

Otherwise also, u can send them mail about cancellation request and you will be safe if u don't get receipt of the hard copy

What up with you? If you can personally go and visit the school, for MQ seats i feel schools don't take it seriously when you call them, its better to just go and talk. Have you finalised a school yet? 

@Sumonto Ghosh....I am bit hesitant towards giving any kind of Donation....be it any term...but indeed the offer is lucrative and its substantiated with a brand like BGS....You took the right decision but don't think think that could afford 1.7 Lac at one go....i am actually trying for Modern School (Humayun Road) Primary section till 5 Class of Modern School....just trying my luck for Alumni Seat....Lets see or else will surely catch up with BGS....
