Wondering if any one in the forum did get to meet the principal at St Francis last week? He had called a few parents and met each of them

@ Sandeep Pal - you can withdraw within one month from the date of admission, there is no such fix date, and as per DOE they have to refund as per terms and conditions.

@Susshma. But schools dont follow this rule as i personally experienced the DIS they told refund policy was till 15th feb not after that.

@ Sandeep Pal - but the DOE clarified it that schools have to refund if one withdraw within one month from the date of admission.  you show them the copy of circular of DOE.  they have to refund the amount or complain against them in DOE 

how many people are here taken admission in g d goenka and going on 27 march for attend orientation programme.

I dont know about orientation but session starts from 7th April'15.....I am also trying hard to get into this school but in vain so far.....

any parent(s) here who is/are concerned about school transport? e.g. nursery classes usually gets over by 12-12:30 but kids are made to wait till the senior classes are over so that entire school leaves at the same time using school buses...nursery kids are made to sleep/play for those 2 hours at the school

It is not like that.

For afternoon, there are two trips of buses - first for small kids and then for seniors.

Morning it is common.

Meenakshi: yes most of the schools do have separate trips but a few schools are still there which have one transport for to and fro.

@ gautam-ehich school as re you talking about? 

Seems unfair to make 3-4 year olds wait till higher classes are over.

I have attended orientation programme of Ave Maria School.School Starts from 7th April. For uniform, u have to buy it from Sandhya Garments sector-7 dwarka.I have purchased books same day and discussed route for my ward.

@Sushma. No idea about nursery MQ seats call them they will provide you the detail.

I am little bit confuse about two schools please suggest me that, Bal Bharti school has strength of 46 student in Classroom where as N.K Bagrodia has 30 student strength in classroom so i want to known which school will be good according to this strengths and which school is good for acedmics as lathaa madam you already told me that Bal Bharti has rich pedadogy but i am confused about the strength please suggest me which school i prefer .

@ surender- I am not an expert on dwarka schools, but if I had to choose between bbps & nkb, I would choose bbps.

46 is big in numbers for nursery. Most of the other schools have limited to 30-32.

But you have to think if it is the only factor based on which you are going to decide?

Bal bharti otherwise has an edge over nkb.

mostly schools have the ratio of 30:1.....40+ is a big number to manager unless they have 2 teachers attending one class at the same time.

I have got my son admitted in Mount Carmel Dwarka. Is there any group or forum where I can stay in touch with the other parents who have selected this school for their wards.

Session to start from 8 apr-15.

For school uniform books and stationary,its there available in school itself.

For now I would request all the parents whose kids have got admitted in MCS Dwarka to join the Mount Carmel group and make the best use of it in terms of information sharing.

Finally completed the admission process in BGS international Dwarka in class 1st. Quite relief now tension over.
