@Neha Adhikari. St marys dwarka. Starts from 1st but they have junior branch naming ave maria bamnoli. They will not display any notification you have to self go to school and submit the form as soon as the dates are decided for admission

@Neha Adhikari. Its a co-ed & a good school. How old is you son if he is 3+ then you can place him in ave maria & he will be shifted to st marys & if he is 5+ then its on the basis of seat availability but you can submit the form when admission opens by calling in school.

@ Neha- i filled forms for Ave Maria last year, i dont remember them having a alumni category.

@Priyanka Shori. St marys is a good school & Ave Maria is just an entrance ticket to st marys. As st marys starts from class 1 & childern from ave maria are transferred to st marys.

I was just being informed about it from their finance team, but while reviewing St.Mary's site i was unable to find Ave Maria as a junior wing on their website. 

Also do you know if Ave Maria has their official website, i am unable to locate one?

@Priyanka Shori. No they dont have any web site you have to personally visit the school to fill the form when the dates are announced for admission. Its in bamnoli Near dwarka.

I stay in the Delhi Metro official colony just across dwarka sector 16b. since the location falls officially in najafgarh, its difficult to get through the admission in good schools. may kindly suggest which would be the nearby schools i can apply for my son..

I heard schools demands original copy of birth certificate, is this true? Also is it mandatory to have kid name on birth certificate?

@Anuradha. Few good schools are BGS, DPS, Mt. Carmel, VIS-10, ITL, Basava, Bal Bharti, Indraprastha, Max Fort.

@ Manish- it doesnt ve any impact on the out come/results, whichever is comfortable to you. But if the school has online submission, its better to use it, to avoid standing in the que etc

@Manu. If you compare SVIS & VIS i will recommend VIS sec-10 as my personal opinion. 

@Manish. you can fill on lone form but you have to visit the school for submitting the documents & receipt & etc. Its only to save you to visit school twice or you can take documents with you fill it on the spot & submit it to the school but it will take time & you can visit limited school. Its better make a route.

@Megha Punia. 4 year kid is eligible for KG (Prep./Pre-primary). I dont think they will consider him in pre-school.

@Priyanka Shori. In my opinion i will recommand BGS>DPS>VIS>Mount Carmel>ITL>Bal Bharti>Basava>Suchdeva Global>St Francis>St Marys>St Thomas>Maxfort>Indraprastha>RD Rajpal>NK Bagrodia. All these are recognized.

I have read HT surveys and it ranks DPS Dwarka as No. 1 school in west delhiSt Francis comes a close second and on some websites it is 3rd.

@Sandeep , can you please state the criteria you used for your ranking.

@Ruhika. I have rated this by seeing past 5 years of my experience. If i have to place my child i will go with this ranking & also depends on the budget also. Currently my son is in BGS International.

@ Ruchika- You shouldn't completely depend on the Newspaper ratings, it is also influenced by the PR department of the school. There are some schools which are very average but somehow make it in the top schools lists,

But having said the DPS and VIS do have very good teachers in higher classes. 

Try to meet and talk to parents of each school, dont relay completely on news paper ratings.

@Beenu Arora. Affidavite should be on stamp paper you can submit the photocopy & after finalization you have to submit the original.
