Dear All,  When is the first list of names of children coming out.  Then by what time are the parents supposed to decide and give admission fee.  I am asking because if the child name comes out in 2-3 schools, what time the parents have to decide between the schools.     Rgds

Dear Amanji,  Thank you for your reply.  So just to reconfirm it means that we will have to decide a weeks time.  And if the child name does not come in first list, when is the second list and what is the time period given for that pls.   Also are the dates for first list, second list and third list same for all schools at least in Dwarka.   Rgds

@Supriyo Ghosh. You can clain refund within 15 days of submission of the fee. Money will be refunded after deducting reg. fee (25/-) admission charge (200/-). & 1 month fee. 

For admission in class VI, any idea which schools are offering seats.   Rgds

Is st marks janakpuri and st marks meera bagh under same management?

Hi Madhavik, reviews are good for the school. Not sure, but St. marks is popular because of its Meera bagh branch only. Also heard that they already took admission for some students in the month of Sep (Sep 2015) by taking money. Now they will be filling left out seats through legal way.

@Madhavik. St marks asks money. If you have filled the form & your points are less they will offer you management seat with around 1.5 L. I have been offered the same last year. for class 1st.

Apart from these 10 i have also filled forms in following 6 schools which are bit on the expensive side

G D Goenka Dwarka

Nirmal Bharatia Dwarka

K R Manglam School Vikas Puri

So can you please tell me which of the above schools are better overall in case we need to opt for these expensive one's :(

I think you missed Venkateshwara international. Your list and its ranking looks good. I heard that Indraprastha Paschim vihar is better than the Dwarka branch. Though i m not sure which is closer to you. As far as DPS Dwarka and St. Francis is concerned so wherever you get the admission, you can feel lucky and go for it :-)

Thank you so much Aman Mathur & Preeti Kumar for your valuable inputs. Preeti Kumar i wanted to apply for VIS but VIS is only from KG 4+, they don't have nursery. There is another school VIS Kids, however i checked with them if you admit your child in VIS kids they will not take your child automatically to VIS Sec 10 next year, we will have to fill the form again like an outsider parent. I don't want to go through this process again next year :)

Anybody having idea about fee in G. D. Goenka, Dwarka.

Nirmal bhartia is giving admission for class KG ,Class 1 and 2...How come they have so many open seats?

Every school is doing business...I have not heard and read about a single school having fair admission policy

Are you counting your points after removing firstborn/ girl child points ? Just asking because I have also applied in most of the schools mentioned by you.

Regarding bania schools actually there are many schools in this category some ask for money after the list, some manipulate the draw...

No i have calculated based on the criteria given by the schools at the time of forms availability & it includes first born/girl child points. If there is any change then it might change. I think you are right. There would be many schools looking to grab as much money as possible specially through management quota seats & some might manipulate draws also

Did any one get a call from Mira Model school, Janakpuri for "interaction" , they asked both the parents to be present with the educational certificates and also the kid.

Sachdeva Global, Queens Valley and Sri Ram World School have same management. So if given a choice between three for a girl child, which is good school academically.  

@Rahul, yes we got it and we visited school yesterday. How was your interaction?

@Preeti, we were supposed to go today but we could not go for interaction because I had to be in office today. Did they ask for money or to block the seat by submitting fees during interaction ?

Rahul, they are ready to take admission right now if parents are keen to admit child in their school. Accordingly they will put the names in first list i suppose.
