@Sanjeev Kumar. I think you should wait till the draw. You can get management seat even after the final list as school keeps the seat for making good money.

Is it important to attend the draws or if we don't attend then our child don't get the seat and is eliminated?

Dear Savitaji,  I will not attend any draws.  I do not think this may affect the seat admission process.  If somebody can advise on this pls.   

I think SVIs only want girl child to be admitted this year....as their criteria is such that only girl child would be qualified for draw....how can first born boy child get 70 marks ,its only possible if he has sibling ....schools should think first and then decide about points.

Does any one know, After the draw is the list posted on school notice board/website or will it be done on 15th only ?

@Meenakshi Sharma & Savita Ahlawat. It does not effect whether you are present or not in the draw the child will not be eliminated from the draw dont worry. A person can be present in all the draws on the same time at multiple place. So dont worry about the elimination child will be consider in every circumferences.

Dear Madhavikji and Sandeepji,  My daughter has got 60 points in ITL.  So this means that she is not eligible for direct admission (80 points) or for draw of lots (75 points).  Am I correct.   Rgds

Do all schools mention that at what points the draw of lots will take place.  For e.g. for BGS, DIS, N K Bagrodia, I could not find at their website.    Rgds

@Supriyo Ghosh. I prefered adarsh as it is better than bal bhawan & bal bhawan dont have transport system also and in these three i will prefer  Vandana>adarsh>Bal bhawan.

@Madhavik, yes I am also not able to access Basava website and its down since many days. Infact the reputation of the school has gone down in my mind considering that they can not bring up their website in this crucial time even after many days.

@Rahul You are right, if school is unable to maintain their website what will they do in future...I am really disappointed with the whole nursery admission process each school is following....Schools are just taking money from parents and filling their pockets nothing else

I rang up Maxfort Dwarka to know when they will upload their points and when is the draw, the receptionist said there is no draw and the final list will be out on 15th Feb and banged the phone down without listening to any other query I had.

Wonder what these schools will teach our kids if the staff does not even know how to speak with parents

@Ashima Maxfort has their playschool and I am 100% sure they would transfer every kid from their preschool to main...no idea about the number of seats left for general people.

@Ashima, they said there wont be any draw because they must have already fixed the draw. Though most schools rob money but Maxfort is among the top most in this league.

They have removed the admission criteria points from their website and have not posted any list with points, their website says contact the school ...and when you ring the school..they bang the phone...

Each and every student is depending on tuitions and coaching classes then what for these school boost about... they just want wealthy kids in their schools so that they dont have to do anything as they know parents would arrange every facility for their kids if they have money

My Daughter name is wrongly typed in Indraprastha School list of students for draw. No one is taking the call at school. How can this be rectified? Is this going to be a concern if her name pops up in the draw list on 10th feb

Supriyo I think we as parents are judging schools what they are today but we cant be sure about future....instead of running for top schools and then regretting in future its better to look for other upcoming schools which are actually trying their best to groom every kid...all the big schools have so many sections and so many children and I doubt they will give equal opportunity to every kid....but the upcoming good schools can give individual attention to kids.... We should all be open to such schools instead of giving donations in lakhs to these lala type schools

@Nilesh. Dont worry afetr final list if a child is selected then you have to fill new form & submit the documents again. So dont worry. Other than child they match other things also. You can get it rectify after words also. They also match the req. slip no. also.

Hi Parents, can anyone give review on Indraprastha international school dwarka in terms of academics, extra curricular and student teacher ratio and other valuable feedbacks.

Dear All, just one small statement.  At least we are lucky in Dwarka that we get admission for our children in one or the other school.  But in places like South Delhi, you do not get admission even in one school.  I had this experience with my son when we resided in South Delhi.  So people residing in Dwarka should feel luckier.
