Hi, my son got thru DAV Dwarka first draw list as he scored 50 points. Now I want to know if I need to be there at the school for the draw on 13th?

This is what they have written - 

"The draw will be conducted for all 3191 eligible registered applicants irrespective of their physical presence or otherwise."

Parents who take part in the process will be given the slips for all the applicants. There is no doubt in this that attendance is not mandatory

Only difference is that those who physically attend the draw will get a chance to put their slip themselves into the container. For those who are not present, all the slips will automatically go into the common container.

Isn't GD goenka draw tomorrow at 10 am their website says 12th at 10 am

N. K. Bagrodia Global School sec 17 draw is also done they will put list on 15th on there website...

@Meenakshi Sharma. After final list uploaded of selected candidate school provide specific time like 1 week or less to final the candidate by depositing the fee it depends on the school how much time they give to parents.

@Sambhav Jain. DPS provide the slip to the parents on entry to auditorium parents are requested to fold the slips & put it into the vase. They also call parents to shuffle the slips & if you want you can also go &  shuffle the slips till you are satisfied. Then some child between you if present or some other are called to pick the slips by them self till the seat available & also for wait list also.

Dear Sandeepji,  Should I go and attend the draw of DPS. Is it helpful just to make sure that the child's name is there in the container.

@Mansi: Its  N K bagrodia Global it  started last year but one of friend's son is going there and they mentioned its good in academics...

@SambhavJain. yes you are eligible. Your slip will be added by the management itself & if selected you will be informed or name will be in the list. 

@Meenakshi Sharma. Its you wish. Your slip will be added to the draw by the management if you are not there. its a clear fair draw as i have attended the draw last year & all the process was in front of me. If you are eligible you will be in the draw whether you are present or not as last year teacher itself put the slip in the vase who were not present.

Ok, one question.  That means the teacher does not put slip of those whose parents come as they themselves put.  For others she put.  How does she figure out so quickly that for who whom she has to put.

Refer to the email stated in the filled registration form of DPS. You must have received in that email the form. Please carry that alongside.

any idea of BBPS? I am waiting for their list, called up school, they said to check back the website at 4. There is still no sign of any update there.

Distance 0 to 10 - 60 Points

and above 10 - 50 Points

Sibling - 15 points

First Born - 15 points

Girl Child - 15 points

Distance

0-3 km = 60 points

3-5km =  40 points

Sibling = 20 points

First Born = 20 points

Is anyone aware of seats division criteria in Bal Bharti? They are doing draws separately for Boys and girls.

I think BBPS has purposely not activated the general category link as all the other links are working except this

My bad luck also persisting like yours @Anurag Lodha . I also want to prepare myself for the worst now... on each of these schools for management quota seats. Please parents help us to choose the best..
