@Meenakshi Sharma. They have records & already prepare the slip of the selected candidate you just have to provide req. no. or student name to get slip from them. the left ones are put by the managenmt themself

@Mansi Rana. Dont loose hope. How many schools did you filled the form & how many left if luck doesn't favor then DPS, Mt. Carmel, BGS, ITL, Bal Bharti i would Suggest.

@Sambhav Jain. Its not mandatory to attend all the draws. child is still eligible for the draw even if the parents are there or not.

Most of us unlucky parents R left with no choice as we will hv to pay hefty donations or compromise with a lesser known school N curse our luck

I would request all parents to share their joy with us by informing us that their child is selected in the draw .to start with my twins got selected in nkbagrodia global and Dis SECTOR 18 N the main school but they may not go there

@Bhawna, the draw is at 2 pm today, the list is available on their site.

Why go for mngmt seats is

1.U don't bother itself till 12th standard.

2To get a mngmt quota seat whatever amount u hv to shell u shld think that this amount is distributed over 13 years

3.Although like many parents I do not hv surplus amnt but I prefer to shell amount now for a good school rather than pay rs 2.05 lacs for the first year as fees in a international or a global school.

4.so I would beg borrow or steal to get admissions in a good school

Pl parents I am not one of those who advocate or agree with mngmnt quota but helpless in a city like DELHI

There are some points against going for Management quota also - 

1)The schools which are new today and not so much sought after are expected to work hard and become well established in 13 years.

2)Many parents say that in lower classes all schools follow more or less same curriculum and in higher classes even the kids of top schools have to go to coaching and tuition.

3)There is a different satisfaction in going with the school in which ur name comes in the draw rather than buying a seat, this however is subject to the fact that school in which the names comes should also be decent enough.

Dear All, tell me something that why are we getting so disappointed as we will also have a second cut off list and I am sure 70%-90% of the kids admissions will be done in the first go.... and schools will be left out with seats to be filled. 

Kindly correct me if I am wrong. Will it be a good option to wait for the second list or go for admission in first go where ever we get?

@rahul yes I am going since St Thomas has announced that draw is at 230 today for120 seats and wl 120 seats N list after draw shall be available at 7 pm today itself

@rahul ur pnt of view is appreciated but still I prefer to send my kids to an established school even if the new schools are later better than the well established schools

@Somya: I have given call to Basava they told they will display the final list on 15th Feb.

They have not cleared about draw and mentioned they will come up with final list only.

Ur patience is well appreciated I agree with u that in about 60 school s at DWARKA at least 6000 seats are available max 4000 applicants so all will get admissions but may not be of their choice N hence the anxiety

@Sujat, so lets say we consider taking Mgmt seat also. How much do you think will be justified or the amount that you would be willing to pay for following schools - 

DPS

Bal bharti

Mount Carmel

VIS

Though I know that its not in our hands to decide the mgmt rates...but still for discussion...

@ rahul ,I hv twins so for dps any amt and for others max 1.00 lacs each for 1 otherwise I already hv paid rs 10000 as advance to Dis 23

Anyways lets hope for the best that we dont have to look for Mgmt seats :)

Thanks Prince, I have asked Sujat to check for my kid also at Sachdeva school. Any one going for NK Bagrodia draw today at 1 pm today ?

Personally feeling, one should go for management seat quota only when you find the choice of schools very less or not acceptable at all.  What is the guarantee that your child will really do well even if he goes in very good school.

@Rahul i agree with you.....there are few upcoming good schools and i m gonna go for them instead of paying 2 to 3 lakh donation....its better i utilize my money for my kids higher education than nursery admission

Any news for St Francis School, Janakpuri.   Will they come out with list directly only.  

The result at DPS will be published by 4.00 p.m. today. Any parent who could jolt down the selected names at the school.
