All the parents of DWARKA who are interested in getting their ward admitted in DWARKA Schools can join this group and interact among each other and can also interact with previous year parents who admitted their wards in Dwarka Schools.
@ Aman: I am just thinking about it. I have waiting in Dwarka International and confirmed in DIS sec 23 and DIS Edge. Since there is no other option im planning to go with DIS sec 23. If waiting is confirmed in Dwarka International will go with it though i have to loos 10k for it. you please suggest.
@Sandeep Ji, we have following 3 options:
I. Indraprastha International School - confirmed
II. ITL Public School - confirmed
III. St Thomas - waiting
Kindly advice with which option we should go and what is your criteria.
Sandeep ji / Lathaa mam, plz share ur views about Bal Bhawan sector 12, it seems i dont hv any other option. Plz share ur feedback wrt academics/teachers
@Prince, I think DIS Sec 23 is best option between DIS sec 23, DIS edge and Dwarka Intl. DIS has chains in other areas also whereas Dwarka Intl is just based in Dwarka.
@Sandeepji and Lathaaji, I have the option of Indraprastha School and Nirmal Bhartia. I do not want to go for Nirmal Bhartia as academically I do not find it worth it. Should I try for management quota seat in ITL or Indraprastha School is okay.
Congratulations to those who have secured admission for their wards and good luck to those who are still looking for their desired schools!
I am new in this group.
Kindly help me resolve a dilemma. We have secured nursery admission for our Son in DPS Vasundhara Ghaziabad....and the issue is that my husband has recently joined a new job in Gurgaon...so, there is long commuting time between Gurgaon and Ghaziabad. We are thinking to shift in Dwarka and withdraw our seat in DPS GV. We are trying to reach individual schools in Dwarka for nursery admission but we are sure that even with all the efforts, we would get mediocre or lower ranked school now. Is it a wise decision to shift our child in mediocre school in nursery in Dwarka and then aim for admission in KG in a good school or should we continue in DPS GV only?
Kindly suggest as we need to take the decision at the earliest.
@Swati, If you arrange for a reliable transport between DPS Ghaziabad and your residence in Dwarka, then personally speaking I think you should continue your child schooling in DPS which is one of the most sought after school. Later you can aim for admission in KG in a good school.
@Meenakshi, you should go ahead with Indraprastha, there is not much difference between ITL and Indraprastha ...in some points Indraprastha has advantage and in some ITL...overall difference is definitely not worth paying for Management seat.
@Agarwal, when I went yesterday personally to see the result of ITL, on notice board near gate, they have written, "no donation or capitation fee to be allowed for admission to nursery/pre primary. So what does this mean.
@Meenakshi...got admission in MDH school, its a small school but very near to my home...in next few days will take decision to select it or to go for management seat in some school.
@Rahul: Thanks for your advice. No i have not got call from Indian Hights but when i visited last week they assured me in second list they will give priority.
@Preeti, one aspect of school selection also depends on the lifestyle you have and the lifestyle of the general crowd of the school. KR Mangalam is sort of a Hi-Fi school where children of higher classes sometimes get into a race of showing off latest i phones, expensive cars etc. But again this is general perception does not apply to all students. However there is a risk that a student who is denied any of these may feel a bit inferior.
I know that St Marks Meera Bagh co-ed school is a nice school, though its based on old methodologies and is more academically inclined. For girls only school you should check their CBSE results, activities. They have moderate fees as compared to KR Mangalam.
Overall choose the school which gels well with your lifestyle.
@Satyabrata Biswas. If you compare these school the n i will like to choose DIS>OPG>Bal bhawan. I would like to inform you if you are not known to this that Bal bhawan doent have transport. It a good school but comparing with these i would like to go with my ranking.
@Ruchika. If you get selected in suchdeva global then go for it if not then go for DIS Edge. as affiliation if not a big issue it will get affiliated like other branches of this schools.
Thanks so much Rahul for the detail reply. I am bit sceptical about sending my child to only girls school so in confusion. Though i too heard that st. marks co-ed is popular one. Also no one is going to refund any amount if at any point we got admission in other school and in starting they both are charging close to 43K- 45K.
@Aman Mathur. I dont agree with you regarding admission. as its difficult to get admission in after nursery as option gets lesser & lesser every year. As year passes the number of seat availability gets decrease or no vacancy.
