If wishes were horses my child wld hv been in DPS. If one is as unlucky as me getting into iits oriims is easier than getting a nursery seat.well coming to itl my child was grilled by the principal who is very good N tactful with children that I was very happy with the school.I was not asked for any money but was told that I will hear soon.so I am waiting for their call.since I have admitted my child in sachdeva already I may not pay any extra amount however I will let u know if they ask for any amount

Since govt has advised all schools to inform  by 29th Feb second list if any good schools are waiting to interact for mngmt seats if any.so maybe we get to know something in the first week of March.

@Sujatji,  Thanks for the reply.  I have also paid and will not be able to pay management fee if asked for.  So pls let me know the outcome of your result if you paid them extra or not.

@Meenakshi ;@Sujat; I also want to go for ITL but not on management Quota so finally settled for Sachdeva considering it is also good school and nearby my house and will save 1hr daily for my kid which he can utilize for other activities.

@Sujat: Please let me know if they are giving admission without quoting any money.

@Princeji,  my views are same as that of yours.  I will not pay extra.  So I will also wait for Sujatji reply.

@ lathaa mam, do u hv any review about Nk bagrodia global sec 17 dwarka ? how this school is different from Nk bagrodia sec 4. 

@Lathaaji,  Is that your son whose profile is there in your inbox.  Is he naturally talented or certain tools helped him in becoming so genius.  Just curious to know and it will be learning less for parents like us.

@Sahiba: They are asking 44.5k(include one quater fees) for admission and latter on 28.5k quaterly excluding transportation.

pros n cons of Dwarka international school ?

Dear all,

Kindly recall two imp things which I said 

1.there are 3500 applicants and 6000 seats in DWARKA so all of us will get admissions in good schools.

2.send emails to school of ur choice for mngmnt seats.

Results R overwhelming as I had sent 5 mails to top 5 schools of DWARKA N am glad to inform all concerned that except DPS I got call from 4 schools for the seats.

I therefore suggest to all once again to approach schools and take admission of ur liking without paying any extra amount

Yes, I also feel that after the initial panic the admission process has eased out to a great extent at least in Dwarka region. We are lucky to be in Dwarka or close to it. Admission in other parts of delhi is much tougher.

Its only in Dwarka region that admission is possible in some very nice schools like Sachdeva, SR world , Basava, Nirmal Bhartia without donation or links

Is sachdeva a better option than itl in any aspect?

Hello Lathaa, Thats what my mind also tells me; thanks hearing same from you is so much satisfying. However the fees difference is so wide, its getting really difficult to make a choice

@Jayant: I agree with you that fees of sachdeva is on higher side.But it seems more promising whatever i had discussed with parents of kids studying there.

Consider distance also. If itl is walkin from your house you can go for it  else i will say sachdeva is bettet option in terms of future.

Best part of sachdeva management  is they take parent queries on serious node and take immediate action and give prompt response which itself is satisfying aspect.

@Prince, no both need transport from my place so this criteria is out. Not sure if ITL is going to retain it's name in future.

@Jayant: ITL is definitely now better option considering academics over sachdeva for higher grades.But for nursery and KG they are sending kids to there another wing which does not seems convincing to me.

Also have you deposited any amount in DIS Sec 22 and going for refund?

About sachdeva below are the point based on which i made my decision:

1) Near by my house half an km so will save my kid  travel time which is very important aspect

2) Good in academics they have smart classes for kids.

3) Very good in infrastructure front.

4) Child will get good stage exposure as they have lot of activities for kids and will have edge in sports as well as they have a large ground for skating,cricket,basketball in future.

5) I need not to pay any extra amount for managment.

6) Admission charges are not much just 16k

7) I discussed with parents and they have good feedback.Another best part is managment take parent queries on serious node and take prompt action that is what i have been told by parents

@Prince, I think you are right and i really appreciate you discussing in details. I like Sachdeva exactly for the same reasons except distance from my place. Yes ITL is a better choice for academics for higher grades but for lower Sachdeva seems to be a better choice (comparing to itl candy floss that looks like a regular playschool to me). Question is the uncertainty (like all things of future) if ITL will be able to live upto same expectations when my kid gets into higher classes. What a dilemma, i guess i am seeking best of both worlds for my kid. And yes, Sachdeva comparing to itl is like 50% more pricey.

I booked in sachdeva few weeks back when they were offering on walk-in and in ITL i am hopeful

As already informed I got calls from 4 schools for the mngmnt quota and was pleasantly surprised that it is a myth that schools ask for money itl nirmal and Max did not ask for extra amnt and svis asked for 1 years feein advance. So my request to all the parents is there are many seats available in gd schools so from RT now approach them in writing\ email N see the results for itself .now I hv to decide by 5pm today whether I should continue with sachdeva where I have paid fees or go to itl/svis/nirmal 

@rahul, Thanks. How's ITL in giving stage exposure and activities wise with personal attention to kid (36 kids in a class), please provide your thoughts?

@Jayant, yes I agree class size of 36 is on higher side, but i came to know that there are lot of teachers in Candyyfloss and maids. I calculated the teacher student ratio in ITL it comes to 1: 25, which I think is decent. We also know that all schools have a class size of more than 30. Bal bharti in fact stuffs more than 40.

@Sujat, I think if I were in your place I would opt for ITL. You haven't paid anything for management quota only loss for you would be one month's tuition fee. 

Its a great change in system if SVIS is also offering seat without donation, because VIS management is known for their hunger of money. But ITL is better than SVIS, in fact in recent reviews by a parent I got to know that Sachdeva is also better than SVIS.

@Rahul, yes 1:25 is decent, none of the established school won't go below this at least in delhi. Have you got your kid into ITL or still trying?

@Jayant, I have got admission for my kid done in ITL.
