Hi,Does anyone have clarity that whether 4+ kids would be eligible for nursery admissions in next session also i.e for 2017-18? Or was it just an exception for 16-17 session..
  • Meenakshi Sharma

@Rahulji,  From the reasons that you gave us for preferring ITL over Indraprastha, seems very genuine and thorough home work from your side.  Now I have a question.  Let's say that in future, I mean to say after 2-3 years, we would like to change the school, then what is your preferred school names in priority wise with reasoning.

  • Rahul Verma

@Meenakshi, I would prefer not to change the school as adjusting in school environment is not an easy task for the kid. However, if I have to , then I would change only if I get option of DPS.

Otherwise, the difference with others like Bal bharti etc. isnt't worth making the change at all.

  • Sandeep Pal

@HK. It will depend upon the guidelines that will be issued by DOE in next session.

  • sandy

    @prince

we should make joint complaint with DOE.DIS is not refunding my amount also...

  • Prince Sidana

@Sandy: I have sent email to DOE yesterday. Please let me know how we can make joint complaint.

  • Dr Nitesh Singh

dear all ,i received a call from SVIS that seat can be confirmed for my daughter and can come tomorrow for fee structure and verification of documents.

  • Meenakshi Sharma

Which school is better academically at higher classes SVIS or Indraprastha. Can anybody give views on this pls.

  • Prince Sidana

@Meenakshi: Overaal Indraprastha is a better option.

  • Meenakshi Sharma

    #Princeji,  Thank you.

  • Ashish agarwal

Anshul: did your child selected in draw?

  • Dr Nitesh Singh

    @ lathaa ji thanks

  • Deepak Mehta

Hello Sunil ji & Lathaa ji

Initially I had option between Max kids RD Rajpal & Brain international. I took admission for my daughter in RD Rajpal. Later on last week i got a call from ITL & considering ITL feedback from this page & from you guys i took admission in ITL. Now i need to withdraw from RD Rajpal & i will probably do it tomorrow. Today i got a call from Maxfort & SVIS dwarka now i am confused is it worth withdrawing from ITL now & choosing Maxfort & SVIS. SVIS is also on bit higher side. So i am thinking about sticking with ITL considering SVIS is on a higher side maxfort is also little more expensive. Can you please suggest if there is a huge difference in terms of quality of education between ITL maxfort & SVIS. If there isn't much difference i would want to stick with ITL. Please suggest.

  • Rajbir

    @Deepak Mehta
How much they are asking for admission on management seats in itl..please give some light regarding this
  • Meenakshi Sharma

@Deepakji, From the view of this forum, I think you should go for ITL.  The fee of ITL is also so reasonable.

  • Rahul Verma

    @Deepak.

Maxfort is not even close to ITL or SVIS.

Among ITL and SVIS, ITL scores because -

1)ITL has a bigger campus of 4 acres, SVIS has no ground for Cricket/Football.

2)Check the CBSE results of ITL and SVIS. Every year ITL has done better than SVIS

    3)SVIS is expensive than ITL

4)Check ITL website, you will find each and every information on its website. Right from children in each class to fees, number of teachers etc. All this info is not available on SVIS website which indicates trust deficit.

5)Some parents feedback from SVIS is that there is a lot of financial and time burden of activities/projects and most of this stuff eventually has to be done by parents.

  • Ashish agarwal

what is the fee structure of maxfort?

  • sunil kumar

@ deepak : stick with ITL.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Ashish Agarwal. In my opinion an average AC school with moderate fee.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Meenakshi. I think you should stick to indraprastha.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Deepak Mehta. Go with ITL its a good school with reasonable fee, good infra.

  • sujat

    Rajbir,

Itl is not asking for any extra amount. I hv paid only the fees of roughly rs 40000 N taken admission N looking for refund from sachdeva

  • Deepak Mehta

Thank you so much Guys for your opinion. I will stick to ITL. Thank you so much Rahul Verma for detailed comparison & i agree with your opinion.

@ Rajbir they are not asking anything extra in ITL.

  • Shashank Kapoor

Can anyone please provide the feedback of GD Goenka Sector 10 on below parameters:

    1) Teacher Student Ratio

    2) Extra curricular activities

    3) Personality development, do they promote kids for debates and stage performance.

    Thanks,

    Shashank Kapoor

  • Rajbir

Thanks sujat and deepak Ji....on what behalf they are choosing parents for admission on management seats
  • anuj rohatgi

how much svis asking for management seats ??

  • anuj rohatgi

hi all i have a confirmed admission in st thomas, now i have received call from svis sec 18 , how much money i need to pay i.e. in mgt seat any idea would be gr8 .

how wud you compare st thomas with svis i.e. which school would be the best ?

  • Madhavi

What are basis on which SVIS is giving calls to parents?   Is it waiting list candidates they are calling or random?

  • Naveen Bansal

Any school declared 2nd List as decided to be declared on 29th Feb'16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant see any.

  • Dr Nitesh Singh

@ shashankji ,have you not confirmed admission of your child in Carmel?
  • Deepak Mehta

We don't know the criteria Madhvik. Anuj i think they will give you admission without any extra money. I think except 2-3 best schools in dwarka like BBS DPS SFS janak puri rest of the schools still have seats left. Lets assume 50 mgmt seats per schools & lets assume there are 25 schools in dwarka i don't think 750 parents will pay hefty amount in donation to book a seat as most of the parents by now have booked atleast one seat. So now schools are under pressure to atleast fill up the vacant seats

  • Dr Nitesh Singh

@Madhvik,I had mailed svis few days back ,today received their call..
  • anuj rohatgi

@madhvik same scenario with me too , mailed at svis enquiring abt mgt seats received call yesterday.
  • HK

Any clarity whether these svis calls are for mgmt seats or kind of second list? If mgmt seats, anyone visited, then what extra AMT they are asking?
  • Vidya Sagar Uprety

@HK these SVIS calls are for the second list (at least in my case). I completed admission formality of my daughter this morning at SVIS.

  • Meenakshi Sharma

As stated by Naveenji, has any school come out with second list as 29 Feb'16 was the date of second list.  This pertains especially to good schools.

  • Meenakshi Sharma

Dear All Learned Parents, Since most of the parents may have confirmed admission at one school or other and may have done extensive research both written and oral, let us summarize the findings.  This will give us an option to try next time in a better school based on the strength and weakness of the school.  I list below the most sought after schools and its findings:

                                                           Strength                              Weakness

    1.     DPS

    2.      Bal Bharti

    3.      Mount Caramel

    4.     VIS Sec 10

    5.     SVIS sec 18

    6       ITL

    7       Indraprastha

    8        BGS
