@Sambhav Jain. No they dont have canteen in school premises. 

@Rajni Dhalla. Did they provided you the fee structure at the time of admission & in KG. Did they charged same in nursery.

The tuition fee of BGS is quite reasonable but the transport fee is high.  Normally it is around 2500 in other schools.

Sandeep ji as you suggested i did call BGS for the admission in class Ist but they did not allow me to talk to Principal and said No Vacancy :( hard luck 

@Meenakshi Sharma. Transport is lowest of BGS its only 4500/- qtr. i.e only 1500 monthly. I think its the lowest they are taking.

my daughter got selected in DPS dwarka for class Prep. we have to go there on Monday for admission formalities.

Does anybody have any idea about the school ?? And teacher student ratio. please any feedback is welcome .

Dear Silkeeji,  How were you able to manage to get admission in such good school.  Did your daughter gave any written exam.

@Sandeepji,  Does it mean that as nursery admission, they first give points system and then go for draw or directly for draw. 

@Meenakshi Sharma. yes as nursery admission they first give points & if applications are more than the seat with similar point then there is a draw.

@Meenakshi... there was a draw for 3 seats in which she luckily got selected , no exam.

there were total 6 seats.. out of which 3 were given to highest points holder (i.e. sibling .. total 75 points) and then there was draw for remaining three seats for all candidates who had equal points i.e. 45.

@Silkee Joshi Sorry please pardon my ignorance..what does prep class mean? Does it mean Nursery? Did you apply again or was your daughter name selected based on forms submitted in Jan?

@Divya Gaur. No its not nursery its next class after nursery. Prep means KG (Pre- Primary).

there was a separate form for this class. DPS opened registration last week only.

And the draw was held on wednesday this week.

Hello Guys I hope all of u are doing well & ur kid has settled in new school. Just one question regarding the new Delhi govt initiative about refund of hike in school fees of schools. Does anybody has any idea about it. Which of the schools in dwarka have hiked fees this year as compared to last year. Which of these schools has now decided to roll back & refund. This information will help lot of parents here as some of these might get bit of their hard earned money back :)

@Deepak Mehta. All most all schools have hiked the fee. As my son is going in BGS we have message that they are imbibed by govt. for fee & will intimate us the changes & settle the balance in next quarter.

Thanks to all the members of the Forum for their continuous efforts for giving the parents an edge over the stress of the admissions for their children. I m delighted to share that I have managed to secure admission for my son in Class 3 in ITL. Again, I m grateful for the support especially Lathaa Ji and Sandeep Ji.

Can anyone inform me for KG or PREP admission, is there once again lottery is organized like Nursery admission in Dwarka School? At what time the KG admission procedure starts? Are all the leading Schools like NKB Sec 4, DPS, Bal Bharti, BGS, Mt Carmel , ITL, VIS Sec 10 accepts students at KG level? Who has the maximum no. of seats?

@Supriyo Ghosh. VIS organize lottery system as it starts from prep. Mt. carmel will take test of the child same with indraprastha. Rest schools either by point or by interaction with the child depending upon the vacancy. wait for the admission to start. Some will start with nursery some after that but you have keep a close eye on that. Stay tune to the forum for this.

My daughter is going to be 3 years in Nov 2016, can someone suggest me how would I go ahead and get her admitted in school. I have opted to Sachdeva global school, can someone tell me about the school and provide me with the details. Thanks you much, any help will be much appreciated. 

@Gurinder Sandhu. Its a good school & expensive one. Are you applying now as i dont think any school will provide admission at this stage.
