@sandeep pal .. what is the age criteria? I heard that at the age of 3, admission can be taken in the school..is this not correct?

@Gurinder Sandhu. Its this year criteria. for next session still to come. So you have to wait for the DOE circular. Are you getting admission in current session.

Can any one help me understand the different terms used for primary/pre-primary classes as it is highly confusing. Pre-Nursery, Pre-School, Nursery,pre-primary, LKG, KG, UKG, Prep...Please help me understand what is the hierarchy in schools with synonyms for each class.

Schools use different nomenclauture

Pre Nursery = Play School

Preschool = Nursery = LKG

Preprimary = Prep= KG= UKG

Can anyone suggest what will be the Monthly/Yearly fees and hidden cost in VIS Sector 10  at PREP level?

Can we have the schools ordered rank wise(Academically and Extra-curricular activities wise),may be based on parent's review also, fees wise for nursery classes.

I know its difficult but to do but do we have some list which we can refer to have some idea about school's feedback/rank.

As now parents are aware that surveys conducted by different agencies are incorrect/manipulated or paid, so parents feedback the the authentic source

I would suggest parents to share reviews also regarding new schools as many new schools also have come .

some schools which have positive review are DPS /Mount Carmel/Vis Sec 10/BGS/NKB/Nirmal Bhartia/ Basava n many more

How is Maxfort Sector 6 ?

Last year we transferred our kids from Apeejay Noida & Amity, Noida into Basava International School, Sec-23, Dwarka (class 6 & Prep respectively).

For class-6, academics wise we found the school at par with Apeejay Noida. We feel it slightly lags in extra-curricular activities.

My honest opinion is that most of the schools are at par & finally its only the parents who need to support the kids, specially post class 4 / 5. Anxiety of parents putting their first kid in school is understandable. Believe me, your kid will certainly get admission into at-least 2 to 3 schools by start of the new session, if not in first or second round. All schools try to create panic among parents & finally end up having at-least few vacant seats.

Coming back to Basava review. We transferred our second kid (in Prep) from Amity Noida to Basava. The curriculam of Basava is OK, but i think teaching methodology of Amity was better. I am not sure of other schools in dwarka, but parents rate Basava as a above average school. We are ok with it. Our daughter is doing good in class, but at times miss the regular extra-curriculars of Amity.

Overall, my opinion is you will get mixed reviews for even the best schools of Delhi. Don;t worry much. Shortlist 4 to 5 schools of your choice & go for it.

1. When the admission for 2017-18 session will be start.

2. How can one apply for his / her ward i.e. Online or Form Filling.

3. Last date for admission will be same across all Dwarka schools or it depends upon school to school.

@Ishwar Pandy. Date for admission still to come from DOE. Date of submission is same for all schools in delhi. It depend on school whether they open via online, form submission or both.

Delhi follows uniform calendar and admissions starts Dec or Jan on wards

DOE Notification for exact dates for admissions calendar  this year will come Nov on wards (stay tuned n keep checking your mails for regular updates )

From last few years admissions open from 1-15 Jan (Last year it was 1-22 Jan)
