is it advisable to put child in big schools...my son goes to playgroup which is upto 3rd standard..but its very good and reviews are also very good about this school from parents whose children are studying from dis school...so i am confused what to do..

Play school want to earn extra money ( Most of them by asking parents to continue till KG or above)

Apply in Nursery only in big (composite schools)

As very few vacancies in KG and no Guarantee in senior classes  admissions as depends on vacancy and many school do not post in open domain

went through this painful ordeal of admission 2 years ago....still appears that as it was yesterday. advisable to all to apply in all shortlisted schools and don't refrain basis geography proximity. luck plays its role

Min age for Class 1 in Delhi is 5 yrs on 31 Mar 2018

@Ravita.Wait for this years criteria by DOE. If not changed then same as told by sakshi ji. She is eligible for class 1st. Some schools will open with nursery some after that keep in touch with schools as soon as criteria announced, 

I enquired with St Marks School Meera Bagh, they mentioned the school is from 1st standard only, there is no nursery and KG section. Further, they confirmed Magic Beanstalk is not related to them as is popular belief. Are there any parents on this group whose kids go to St. Marks SS School Meera Bagh? If yes, did you get the admission to your kid through 1st standard only?

There are 3 types of forms (school specific)

Online/Downloadable/Physical forms

In online forms you need to submit details n some documents (if required)

In downloadable form you can download forms from school website and deposit after filling at school

In physical forms ,you need to collect forms from school first and deposit it at the school after filling it

Rest Saturday is school specific

New Era, Mayapuri starts from Class I. Is there any other branch for Nursery and K.G.?

@Ankit Taneja. St marks has its junior branch contact them for admission.

Is Aadhaar card really mandatory for admission of child to Nursery school now? I have checked at 3 Aadhar kendra centres and none are creating new ones right now? Apparently, some changes/clarity needed from govt. Is it correct?
