Vishal Bharti Public School vs Hansraj Model School.

Hi Sakshi, I know you have recommended me Hansraj Model school earlier and I am still stick to that but When I visited the school for admission, they were not even entertaining the parents and wanted to submit the fees at the outside office itself. We wanted to have a visit to the Kindergarten section located separately which they denied by saying you need Principal permission for the same. Which is good in a way but also there should be some way we can see the facilities and meet teachers as well before we take any admission there. 

On the other Hand, when I visited Vishal Bharti Public School, it was not a big school like Hansraj but clean and good environment for the kids. I could visit there classrooms and met a couple of teachers, so overall experience was good. So I am just curious about Hansraj now that what does the actual school look like? how is the curriculum and activities? How good is the environment and smart classes for kids and I read somewhere they have ACs in Kindergarten.

So can you please help or anyone on this forum who has some idea about the school and its culture? I know a couple of parents in my neighborhood who has taken admissions in Vishal Bharti public school for one of the reason as less number of students in class so more attention for the individual kids?

I have taken admission in VVDAV and yesterday got a call from ANDHRA school, Janakpuri. Both are at same distance from my place i.e. 3-4 km.

There is not much information/reviews about Andhra School, Janakpuri on this forum. Kindly suggest how is this school as I know only one thing that there fee is very nominal like 10,000 per year.

Kindly suggest what would be best for my child.

It is decent school for Academics but child have Telgu as subject till 8th.

Hi Sakshi,

My ward have not got anything good, we took admission in New Era Sappling (Naraina Vihar).

Still we have option like VVDAV, DIS Dwarka, Maxfort Paschim Vihar and also got call from Thomas (But do not know whether they will ask for money or not, it is also far from our home.)

Apeejay PP lucky draw tmrw- but again very less hope.

Please help what to do? Shall we wait for next year?

ST Thomas (which Branch)  but you must block your seat in some other school as upper cut of age being implemented from next year and would be very tough for KG admissions.

What are timings for APJ Draw.

You should opt for other schools as St Thomas won't ask for Donation or  If Lucky in APJ.

Sakshi ji, fee I paid for VVDAV is 27000 as lumpsum.

School has not given breakup yet. But to mention, it includes tuition fee for April and May only. Transport additional.

Regarding Andhra School Janakpuri, their fee is hardly 8k - 10k per annum.

Pls put more light on Andhra School, as it is attracting me allot due to it's nominal fee.

I have already dropped Modern Convent School Dwarka Sec 4, hope I have not done a mistake. It is little far from my place compared to VVDAV.

FOr Dr. Rashmi Salhotra, if Fees is not a concern, than VIS Sector 10

For RITU RAJ - Modern School is having nice Infrastructure compare to VVDAV however VVDAV is traditional school focus on studies compare other activities.
Modern School Fees is not so high besides having good Infrastructure and modern style platform, if I would bee in your shoes then Opt Modern School, if its near to my place else VVDAV.

I stay about 200 mtrs from Springdales branch (KN). How can i get my child admitted here. I had the maximum score for distance but not an alumni or sibling case. Please help if possible.

@Sanjib: Springdales has been a mystery from quite a few years.

You either get through it via Lottery(which is not open) or via some high level Jack.

I have been following it from quite a while... but no luck so far...!! 

Bottom line: If you are not an alumni/sibling case.... Or if you dont have a proper channel/jack .......Its almost next to impossible to get in it..!!
