Pankaj, I believe your kid has got admission In Ramjas Day Boarding, Anand Parbat. Mine too got confirmed :) My only worry is the school timings. Do you know any reviews about this school and do small kids adjust to day boarding schedule?

Well to be honest I have no experience with Afternoon shift of Salwan, Rajender Nagar. But it depends on which school we r comparing with it. The management seems the same and I believe there is one section of Afternoon shift and I am sure teachers must be following the similar curriculum and no doubt their curriculum is too good.

Let me know the list of schools u r comparing with afternoon shift. It might help me analyse more.

Just confirming that we r talking about Nursery Admission.

If yes, 

i) Ramjas Day Boarding (Anand Parvat) not safe area-wise. Ramjas, Pusa Road (VI onwards) has the best reputation.

ii) Gyan Mandir  I have No clue, never heard of it.

iii) Salwan Morning is best and as far as Afternoon is concerned, yes it disturbs the routine of child and its always preferable to make a habit to get early.

So you have waiting in Salwan and waiting number seems to be high(given the nursery admission scenario and salwan's reputation) and for the afternoon, they r offering you a confirmed seat?

I think that you should pursue harder for the Salwan (Morning). Try to meet Principal and give a detailed application stating your qualifications (spouse too) and your keen interest in Salwan as it has nearly 75 yrs of experience and if they can offer Afternoon, You might be able to persuade for morning. See how many parents will think like that. Not Many.    

And yes about the SPV, I have not tried so far as my husband is keeping busy. I am planning to try in a week's time.They r not entertaining anyone, its just that I called up to know the vacancy in KG, they asked me to give an application and it will be considered if there r any transfers. I dont think anyone takes a transfer from SPV. But I will try as anyone's parents might get job transfer.
