Comment on: Group 'KG~12th Grade School Admissions in Delhi-NCR ADMISSIONS': idea of schools in dwarka. I did alot of research last year selected ASN Sr. Sec school, Mayur Vihar-1 for my child in Nursery (living in east delhi currently). Admission process is already on and i didn't had anytime to research on Dwarka schools. I asked particularly about OPG world as it is walking distance from the society we will be living in (as per latha ji: it has to be the last choice) and Dwarka International as they gave some hint that admission may be possible, looks like they will ask for something however not sure (again: as per feedback its just a decent school). Request you all to let me know some all development good schools in dwarka where i can get my child admitted without researching about them. From some of the post i have read, understand that DPS, Sri Venkatesh, Mt Carmel are such schools. Please elaborate on the list. Time is running out. Comment on: Topic 'Indraprastha or DIS edge or n k bagrodia or bgs': Q seats there justify the repute of these schools. However, I put Indraprastha above NKB for Girl Child (even without MQ seat in NKB). So, if you have confirmed seat there in Indraprastha for your daughter, don't throw it away per my personal view. Anyhow, blocking a seat in Indraprastha would be worth-while by the time MQ status is not bonafide. Also, you will always have a chance to switch later in forthcoming years in upper classes (look in this perspective as well) in case Indraprastha don't go per your child like. At this moment, I'm not giving weight-age to BGS being in Waiting List. RD Rajpal is also good school (though among the mass, it is known as average, but it is much better, you refer the Discussion Board for this school. DIS Edge / OPG doesn't stand a chance among the schools you are interested in as these currently regarded for backlots in case no wishful school have got through in someone's luck. Comment on: Topic 'Share your experiance and pictures': child will be made enough smart to handle professional life etc etc. First day in school supposed be wonderful experience but what we ended up with painful experience of 4 hours on road waiting for our kid to return home. School was off at 12:30pm and kid was supposed to be at its drop stand on 1:20pm. We waited till 2 pm before we all worried parent of Route No 1 to vikas puri started sensing some trouble. Called up school and what we got everytime is that bus will be there in 10 minutes. Its 3:30pm now and mind was not willing to accept that from Dwarka to Vikaspuri it can't be 3 hours. there are thousand of calls made to School authorities but they were clue less and keep communicating wrong to us. Finally my wife stayed at bus stop and I started towards school to find out facts. I reached school and saw there are 20+ parents already standing there, worried, depressed, stressful and fighting with School management to understand where the hell bus has gone. School was not ready to give any information as first they claim that bus driver is not having phone and even school teacher in bus is not carrying same. They were not even having licensed number of BUS..what a awful management. I called up Police and launched a formal FIR and then they started listening to us when SHO of area came to our rescue. Principal of School was telling people to get lost as they were asking for their kid well being..what a shame again. She is such a MAD women. And same lady was so cheerful when it was sales of seat in school. Was very polite and now when it come to responsibility she was walking away washing her hands off. Parent were clue less when we finally called up Police for help. I recommend all parent to think 100000000000000 times before they opt for OPG WORLD SCHOOL DWARKA. Horrible school !!!!!!! Things went wrong: 1. School Authority were not having number of bus. 2. Driver was not carrying mobile. 3. Teacher in bus was not having mobile. 4. There was no way to contact bus. 5. All kids were routed to different routes and they were crying with big tears as we finally received them. 6. Management was irresponsible and rude. 6. Principal of School is so shameless that she don't know that parents are worried and not having fun scolding the school. she was only bothered about people should talk soft. What a hell !!....Parent have been strugling to know about their well being of young kids of 3+ and she was telling them to get lost from school reception. Shameless Lady. 7. Topic: Asian Age - 23 Feb -Some schools asking for donations, allege parents: teraction and asking them to deposit fees within 2-3 days. Schools like JM International School and MBS International School, both in Dwarka, are illegally offering admission to the students on first come, first serve basis. New Delhi: Amidst the continuous changes in the norms of nursery admissions, parents in the national capital have now alleged that some schools are demanding donations from them. They even said that some are giving admission to their wards on the first come, first serve basis without even refunding the money. Schools like OPG World School in Dwarka are asking the non-Dwarka residing parents to get a fake rent agreement made and also deposit Rs 50,000 cash in order to secure admission in the school. “OPG School has gone sick and money minded. They told non-Dwarka residents to get a rent agreement from Dwarka on basis of which admission will be given. They also said once admission is done, all those parents must provide Rs 50,000 in cash. Its horrible and ridiculous,” said a parent on the condition of anonymity. Schools like JM International School and MBS International School, both in Dwarka, are illegally offering admission to the students on first come, first serve basis, a criteria which was scrapped by the high court last year. However, following the complaints received by the parents on the portal, Sumit Vohra, founder of nursery admissions, has even written a complaint to education minister Manish Sisodia and the DoE director asking to take stringent action against the concerned schools. “Dozens of schools like Meera Model School (Janakpuri), Happy Model School (Jankapuri), Shadely Public School (Mayapuri) are even flouting DoE guidelines. They have taken out their first list before the date fixed by the DoE, which has ordered the first list to be diplayed on March 7,” Mr Vohra said. Some are calling parents and kids for interaction and asking them to deposit fees within 2-3 days.
