letters and numbers etc. The interaction was followed by a visit to school facilities, followed by interaction of parents with the head of the primary section. The only school that actually gave us a prospectus against the registration fee we paid (Cambridge also gave us a prospectus from the previous year). We also somehow felt that the school architecture was not claustrophobic or comparatively dingy, as compared to some other schools. Plus points: We felt there is a lot of attention paid to students, not as impersonal as some other schools. The school has a huge ground of 7 acres, with a lot of facilities, the downside is it is not in the same campus - but about 200 meters away, and where students from classes 3 and above are taken in the school bus. The classrooms are nice. The transportation incharge came to meet us to discuss the bus routes etc - the effort and time they gave us was appreciated by us. The biggest advantage -they have opened doors to students for in-person classes from November - which was what we were looking forward to. Admission fees 35k, quarterly fees to be paid at the time of session start in April 2022. Since both of us got very positive vibes from the school visit, we ranked it #1 in the list, though it is the farthest from residence - around 30-40 minutes at least, one way. Indicated there might be a revision in th quarterly fees from the next session, to the tune of 5-10%. 6: K R Managalam, Vaishali: We decided to visit the school, instead of online interaction. The interaction was mainly with us, and was over in 5-10 minutes. We were shown around the school. Seemed to be a normal traditional school with comparative facilities to that of DPS. 7. We were called for interactions at GD Goenka, Indirapuram, and St. Teresa also, but decided to skip them as it seemed to be too many to form a decision. These two schools again seemed to be in the league of traditional schools, comparable to KR Mangalam, Cambridge or DPS, with comparable quarterly fees. So we skipped them. General observations: Seats are not being filled, probably due to COVID and any registration has a good chance of getting an admission, irrespective of the interaction. Some schools are giving discounts on admission fees. I hope this detailed feedback is of help to other parents. Will also look forward to further insights and feedback which can help us also, as we have not yet taken the final call.…

chool names i mentioned in terms of all round development of the kid. I'm a little confused as many people are telling me that missionary schools like Father Agnel, St. Francis, Somerville concentrate only on academics...while i'm looking for school which is equally good for all the activities.
I've gone through the interactions at Vishwa Bharti, Cambridge Noida and DPS vasundhar. Out of which I'm very much impressed with Vishwa Bharti Noida. Can u plz tell me about the school....

starts so early. Honestly, it is beyond our understanding why the Govt. does not strictly regulate the admission process, including insisting on a common timeframe for all school admissions -something that we have in Delhi. The chaotic system where each school does what it likes puts parents under unnecessary stress. I wish there were some collective effort that can help the authorities push some wiser agenda on the overall admission process in Noida and Ghaziabad.
Anyway, so we basically applied in all the schools in early November in the vicinity of our residence, where the applications were still being accepted.
1. DPS Indirapuram (DPSI)
Online interaction was scheduled within 2 to 3 days. The questions included identifying colors, singing a rhyme and then some basic questions to parents. After a week they informed us about a visit to the school and group interaction with the principal and staff. In the interaction, the principal and staff explained the values of DPS, followed by Q&A and visiting the school facilities.
Plus points: brand name, close to residence, established school with demonstrable results
Immediate thoughts: Highest admission fee in any school we came across (60,000 after 50% pandemic discount applied on 1.2 lakh charged in normal times), we felt the school ground is not very big, we also felt the nursery school area was a little run-down, and not sure if maintenance will be done by session start next year. The total strength of 6000 students and 10-12 sections (480 nursery seats) seemed to be too many for any focussed attention on a child (eg: how many opportunities will a student really get to participate in extra-curricular or sports when there are so many students in a class?).
We were intimated of having been shortlisted within 2-3 days of the interaction at the school. Fee (Admission + quarterly) to be paid in 2 days to block the seat.
2. Cambridge Indirapuram:
Online interaction was scheduled within a few days of applying. The online interaction was fine, and our child could not respond much here as I guess she is not used to the pace of English (she is in a non-Hindi/English-speaking household). Was called to the school for document verification, which went smoothly.
Plus points: Traditional no-frills school, with ground bigger than that of DPS. Admission fee is 25k, with a quarterly fee of around 20k if I remember. So comparatively cheaper than other Indirapuram schools. Facilities may be not at par - no swimming pool etc. I was not taken to the classrooms, even though I could have requested.
3. Seth Anandram Jaipuria: Online interaction was fine, and within a day or two they confirmed the admission. From the videos on the school website, the activities seem to be great. However, the ground seems to be too small. Most of the activities seem to be indoor and geared towards academics. Visit to school was allowed through appointment, but we did not visit the school. Admission fees 37.5 k after 50% discount.
4. Amity, Vasundhara sector 6: Online interaction was fine. They specifically did not ask anything to the child as they stated that interviewing a child is against CBSE guidelines. They chatted with me and my husband. Confirmation came in about 3 days.
5: Khaitan, Sahibabad: They do not have online interaction, and scheduled a visit to the school. We felt the campus to be very fine, with a lot of attention and thought placed on the primary section's ambiance. The school had an informal interaction with the child as she was playing at an area designated for children as we were sitting at a distance.…

No Idea for Cambridge Indirapuram!!…
s for putting together this amazing platform and in this busy world you are making the life of parents much easier.
I have not been much active in terms of posting but I think I have read all the posts and kept myself updated with happenings in the ‘World of Nursery Admissions’.
I stay in Indirapuram and my son will turn 3 in Dec, 14. So he is among the younger kids of the eligible kids (some school 3-4. Some 3.5-4.5).
I am sharing my experience. I applied in 6 schools:
DPSI- Not selected. But few days back they sent a letter saying my kid is selected for DPSI, Meerut road. But I was not interested due to distance and this being a new school.
Amity V6: Not shortlisted for 2nd interaction.
FAS: Not shortlisted for 2nd interaction.
Khaitan N: Short listed but not selected for final admission.
St. Francis: My kid was not in mood I guess and the interaction was not good. So I am taking it as a NO.
DPSGV: Not selected initially. But Due to few parents opting out (I think they had other better options) we got a call that my kid is selected for admission.
So finally after 2 stressful months, I have some relief. I need to do the formalities by tomorrow.
After getting disappointment from all schools I had started thinking of schools which are not very much sought after. Like SC DAV, ST Teresa, Presdium, Cambridge Ind. But we got lucky with DPSGV.
I know DPSGV is not the best and I saw posts from parents whose kids are studying at DPSGV, they seems satisfied to me. I would appreciate any final suggestions before I do the final formalities tomorrow. I understand parent’s quality time with kid is much more important than anything else.
Thanks,
Amit…
