and we arent very sure of the teachers in the new school (few teachers from old school arent going to be transferred here), also if they havent been able to fill seats in nursery due to the status of buildings, i dont see them filling up seats in higher classes too (in fact even prep and 1st) this academic year, the infrstructure wouldnt be developed too, if they arent able to fill up seats for all other classes, also the school isnt giving any clear picture on the new school apart from the staff's assurance that the new school will be similar to the old one. …

e admission process is still on for DPS Noida/Amity Noida, there interactions havnt taken place yet. I personally feel that both these schools will continue till Sept end.......My question is -
1. Should we got ahead with Kothari ? Saw the school and met couple of teachers, its just great. Also its the oldest in new age schools like LVIS, Mayoor, Shiv Nadar.
2. Should we apply to other new age schools also despite getting admission in Kothari. If yes, which schools.

r during VBPS & Cambridge interaction so even child interaction part over there hasn't gone very well.
Now I have started looking for alternate schools like Sommerville International, Billabong, (Mayoor - I am not sure if they are still accepting form there), Kothari...…
ct insider's info on Amity-N's facilities..
one ponit comes to my mind is that Amity-N has so many sections and so many children in Nursery..but if we see that in larger perspective, then can't we argue that Amity-N is doing that for goodsake of we parents, as if they are capable of providing big infrastructure and bigger pool of teachers to abosrb this larger intake of children in Nursery....then its for betterment of we parents that most of us have greater probability to make it to Amity...
...argument against that it can be what you have mentioned; crowd, untidiness..etc...but it is managable....and teacher student ratio is being controlled, most of the schools, by keeping 2 teachers in one classroom of 40-50 children ..in sense effective ratio comes out to be 1/20-25..
..I feel Mayoor is a very good school too...and if it suits for your kid and yourselves then its an apt choice looking at the distance from your Jasola house to Mayoor campus (however, Amity also is of same distance)..
regarding DPS-N you can only wait after giving your best in the interaction..that may be a better choice but distance is added further by 2 km.
All the Best..…
the teaching methodology they follows..that have the smart classrooms..toilets are clean..nursery kids were doing skating..personally I like the school very much but I am little apprehensive about the academics side of the school..everyone is suggesting me to go for Apeejay as it is more established and has prooved itself in academics and sports

should not be made delicate and many established schools don't have ACs. But sorry to say DPS-132 can't be compare with those established and reputed schools. It comes in a category of schools like Mayoor, KPS and Millenium. So it should be compare w.r.t to these schools.
Further, other reputed schools who do not have ACs are charging very minimal fees like 60-80K per annum where as DPS-132 is charging approx 1.3L per annum so if I am ready to pay these much of money then of course I look for extra facilities as well.…
ssure on academic is very high...but there are also some other parents who prefer that their child be brilliant academically and they go happily for it..so its debatable and ultimately the parents keeping child in focus should make up their mind...Amity has proven itself so long in all fields..so its known for all...
Mayoor is also good established (since 2003) school with Mayo College heritage and having much personalised attention to each and every student in Nursery class.…
