1. By letting him explore things on his own. Making him curious and exposing him to his surroundings like nature, colors.

2. By Practicing it your self as the child learns the most from his parents and their activities. Making him understand what is wrong and what is right.

3. Try to understand as to what he did and the reason he was scolded. Make him understand softly that what he/she did was not right, and was scolded so that he remembers not repeating it again. Monitor him further.

Pushed? Try to understand the reason for it, was it part of a game and healthy or was he being bullied. If bullied, I would ask him/her to first speak for him/herself to his teacher. If further needed and its a repeatitive case with him/her, I will visit the school and request to take some action as it is not healthy for my child.

Debate? Preparing for a debate is not a 1 day activity. I will try and plan his practice in advance so that there is no last minute rush and a family function does not make him tense.
