A few days back, the DoE sent show cause notices to prominent schools, but that has not stopped other schools from continuing to take such tests,” said Vohra.

“Why can’t the DoE come out with uniform rules on admissions to schools for class 1 to 8?” He has submitted a written representation on March 16 to the DoE and other higher authorities including Chief Minister and Education Minister regarding more schools flouting the ‘no screening’ guidelines.

Comment by Deepmala on March 19, 2013 at 9:20am: Dear all amitian parents....ankita....Dr vikram....sagan........i will not be available on orientation day as we have already planned something for that long weekend :( but please what ever you all decide for pvt vans n all please include my daughter as well....m staying in sector a pocket b . or we can meet on 8,9,10 april......I have decided not to opt for school transport as i dont want my child reached home at 3 pm at this age, we can look for safe transport for those staying in VK.
