Comment by Somdutta Malhotra on February 16, 2013 at 8:39pm: Aditi Gosavi- Going by the rankings, one SHOULD choose Amity over Amrita! But I dunno why I've somehow started developing a repulsion effect with this school after the hue-and-cry they created regarding their nursery admission process! Their entire process seemed fishy to me! So, had I been at ur place, I don't think I'd be able to cope up with this fishy attitude of their's (and ofcourse the lame excuses they keep providing....with reference to the list being TORN) for 14 long years of my child's schooling!

As far as Amrita is concerned, kids from our apartment study there. Its a decent school with focus on academics and their parents are satisfied with the school proceedings as well!

They straightaway accepted the application politely and did not even ask me why, which school etc., etc, unlike other schools, which create a fuss over admission withdrawals! I really admired this attitude of their's! Refund would happen in 3 wrking days!

Comment by Somdutta Malhotra on February 16, 2013 at 8:30pm: Hi Disha- Even I had the same options- Amrita, Apeejay SS and Saket! I chose Apeejay SS over all and got my son's admission done today! I would suggest you too go for this! Hope to meet you on the orientation day!

Comment by Amit Porwal on February 16, 2013 at 8:06pm: this info is for all those parents, who had applied at VGS Rohini, and scored 55 points.... from highly reliable internal sources, we've got to know that the no of students scoring 55 points was more than 1000.... hence, the school RANDOMLY selected amongst them, to declare the list of 88 students under General Category.... the METHODOLOGY and BASIS of this selection has not been disclosed.... Further, i understand that as per DOE guidelines, in case of tie (students scoring equal points), the draw has to be conducted in the presence of a DOE appointed representative, and the recording of the same on CD has to be submitted to DOE within 24 hours.... this school has done none of it..... BLATANT VIOLATION.... Moderator and WebMaster.... can u help.... IF ASKED, YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO FIND MANY PARENTS HERE ON THIS FORUM ITSELF WHOSE KIDS HAVE SCORED 55 BUT COULD NOT MAKE IT THRU THE ARBITRARY PROCESS....
