Comment by Rahul Poddar on February 12, 2013 at 11:38am: In any case, the high court verdict or case proceedings is a no gooder and only causing hassles for parents - people who have paid fees and people who are still waiting to secure a seat. Those who have paid will always have this thing of what do I do if there's no refund and those without a seat are just building hopes that they will secure a seat post the verdict which is not true. The real truth is there are just not enough seats for everyone in "good" schools. The timing is bad with the last of lists expected soon. The focus should be long term on what can be done about this entire process as well as getting more seats in schools. The Govt cannot keep the public on tenterhooks. They are not the ones who are spending time, money and endless worries. A permanent solution has to be there rather than short term solution fighting every year. There are enough engineering seats but not enough public schooling seats.

Comment by Rahul Poddar on February 12, 2013 at 11:31am: It surprises me and makes me laugh that some schools are not going ahead with publishing the list or other admission proceedings pending high court verdict. This may be a very good ploy to mend things in the backend for them. They are just trying to showcase how honest they are to the T with their criteria :)
