Can u name the teacher/vice-principal (School V-P or Junior School in-charge?) u talked to at BVN, I will definitely ask her about this misinformation. I live in Hudco and Amity would have taken another 25 mins extra as per their bus-route timings and it counts. As far as I know, I think u live in VK or VV, so BVN is quite far for you anyway..

Comment by Ankita Ahluwalia on March 7, 2013 at 4:28pm: Sachi Mishra btw another down side for amity saket is that they start very early i.e. at 7:50 and close ar 12:45 and incase the kids are to use school transport they cant leave before 1:50 coz thats when the senior school buses leave.. as there is no separate bus for nursery kids..and that would meanthat the kids are out from 7:30 AM latest till at least 2:45 and at this age its too much to ask of them!

Comment by Ankita Ahluwalia on March 7, 2013 at 4:26pm: Sachi Mishra thats what learnt in the forum and also asked their vice principal who said there would be 40 Children in a class with 1 main teacher and rest a helpr / junior tecaher who is available... but wont be there through out...

Also Amity saket and BVN there isnt much difference in distance they are close to each other... not sure where u stay but am sure u would have checked door to door.

Comment by Sachi Mishra on March 7, 2013 at 4:21pm: @Ankita, The student-teacher ratio of 43:1 at BVN is something that is untrue. On orientation day, I was taken to the class of my daughter's group and there would be two teachers for 35 students and we were introduced to the class teachers as well. Moreover, distance matters a lot and that was one of the reasons why I opted out of Amity-Saket as well.
